Wheein didn't know where exactly she was going. She had just ran out, too panicked and adrenaline-filled to let any rational thought in her brain process. It was almost sunset, so her options would soon grow limited. The vocalist made her way to the stairs at the end of the long hallway and began to walk up them. Once she finally made her way to the top of the flight, she pushed open the door to the roof. There she sat near the edge, watching the sun as it started its descent and night fell. Watching the sunset always seemed to take her mind off of whatever was happening. She was scared, no terrified out of her mind. Was the part where Hyejin seemed to move closer to her just a figment of her imagination? Her best friend could have just felt bad, after all she seemed pretty sure she didn't like girls in that way.She usually wasn't the one to run, she would hide her feelings, yes, but not by avoiding them entirely. Their dynamic was always, different to say the least. Most people thought Wheein was soft and sensitive, and that Hyejin was cold and cut-off. In reality, it was the opposite.
The older girl was also not one to cry often either. Still, here she was, tears looming in her eyes, threatening to fall. Everyone she had liked in the past had liked her back, she never knew what rejection was like. It would hurt to even imagine it. However it was most likely the reality. Hyejin was straight, and Wheein had never had a long term relationship with a woman either, only little flings or stolen kisses in the club, never to be shown to the public. These feelings weren't even fully formed or thought out, she had just felt them.
Sure these emotions and affections had always been there, looming in the back of her mind, but never had they hit her like they had in the past day or so. It came barreling into Wheein as if a semi-truck had hit her, Sudden and all at once.
It must have been 10, maybe 15 minutes until she felt a buzz in her pocket. She reached for it, and unlocked it only to be bombarded with a load of notifications. 2 messages from Yongsun, 15 messages from Hyejin, and 3 missed calls from Hyejin as well. She wondered why she hadn't gotten vibrations for those calls and messages. Though, she realized that she had muted her notifications from Hyejin. She clicked on the messages from Hyejin and unmuted her notifications, and began to read what she had said.
