Saying goodbye to Austin was undoubtedly one of the hardest things I have ever done.

He was now going through security and wouldn't stop waving back at me.

I did have some tears, even though I knew I would be seeing him again soon. I think it was just because I had had such a good time with him over the past week.

I was still in a little pain from last nights events. He would tease me about it, telling me I was a wimp, and couldn't even handle myself, nevermind him and his cock.

Walking back to my car, I wondered what it would be like now that he was gone back to Miami. It would definitely be quieter, and Max probably wouldn't be so much of a brat.

Me and Cole had started talking much more. It was slowly starting to become like it was when we used to just sit around playing spin the bottle, I mean, minus Kj but he doesn't matter.

Since last night he's been trying to call me loads. I've gotten about 30 texts from him alone. I just don't understand why he's so fucking desperate to contact me. I mean, he practically said he doesn't care about me anymore, I dunno.

I knew he knew that Austin was leaving so he probably took this as a chance to finally get me back.

Honestly though, Kj is a really cool guy, but I just don't like him like that anymore. Me and Austin have something going on between us now, so I'm focused on that, not Kj, or anyone to do with him for that matter.

The thing was though, Kj was starting to appear much more than I'd like him to. It was as if he was finding out where I was planning on going and going there himself, but I knew he wasn't like that and it was obviously just coincidence.

I pulled into mom's driveway and stopped my car, grabbing my phone and bag, and heading over to the front door. I knocked once or twice and waited for her to answer.

When she opened her door; she was wearing an old apron and was almost entirely covered in flour. "Hey, sweetie!"

"Hey mama! What are you up to?" I asked her, as she opened the door wider for me to come in.

"I've started baking again!" She exclaimed. As I walked into the kitchen, more and more bowls and utensils appeared, and the room smelled amazing.

"I see..." I laughed, "What for?" I walked over to the counter and found a bowl with a little bit of cake batter in the bottom, so I took it and a spatula to get it out.

"A wedding..." she grinned. She used to make these amazing cakes for weddings when I was younger. She absolutely loved to make huge three tier cakes and trays and trays of cupcakes, and always got Max and I to help her because we loved to make a mess, and steal the leftover cake batter after she had poured it into the tin and put it in the oven.

"Really! That's great mom! Who's wedding?" I asked her, putting the bowl back down on counter, and licking the spatula to get the rest of the batter off.

"Do you remember Natalie, who moved to New Zealand when you were 11?" She asked me.

"Natalie...Marks? Oh yeah I remember her!" I said, putting the spatula in the bowl.

"Yeah, well, she got engaged over there, and they're coming home for the wedding and she wanted me to make the cakes." She told me.

"Mom, that's amazing!" I exclaimed.

"Yeah. The wedding's in about three months, so I wanted to start preparing the flavours and all so her and her fiancé could come and try them out." She said, walking over to the counter and grabbing a few bowls and putting them into the sink.
