10. REAL LIFE

~MADI~

"Wait, what?" Lili exclaimed, giving Cami an excited look.

"Yeah, he asked me to be his girlfriend this morning, and he brought a massive bouquet of roses too. He's such a sweetheart honestly." She gushed, her cheeks turning a shade of pink.

It had been nearly two weeks since Kj and I had our little rendezvous and no one knew about it, except Max, who practically forced it out of me. I haven't heard from Kj since, so I was paranoid that I did something wrong and he was afraid to tell me. Either that or he was avoiding me so we wouldn't be awkward between us.

Cami had also just informed us that Charles had asked her to be his girlfriend, which got me kind of jealous.

To be honest, I did want to get with Kj, but only if he wanted to as well. I really really liked him, but I didn't really know what to do especially because I haven't spoken to him in two weeks.

"He's so sweet, honestly, girls." Cami continued. She had literal mother fucking heart eyes for Charles, and honestly I thought they were cute, but I could not stop thinking about Kj.

"What about you, Madi. Have you and Kj gotten together yet?" Lili asked me. I nearly fucking lost my life. I wasn't expecting her to ask me that sort of question yet.

"Oh...psht, god no." I said, looking at my hands in my lap.

"Mads." Cami said, looking at me with a raised brow.

Camila, Lili and I were all hanging up in my room because we had nothing else to do. We did have lunch reservations but something had happened to one of the faculty there and the restaurant was closed.

"C'mon Madi, it's not like the whole of Los Angeles is gonna find out...if you did hook up." Lili told me, smirking at Camila.

"Lili, if I tell you the whole of LA probably will find out." I said, crossing my arms over my chest and trying not to blurt everything out.

"We promise you we won't tell, Madi, pleaseee!" Cami begged, resting her palm on my knee the way she does to everyone, as if to relax me so much that the words would just spill out.

"Fine. But you cannot tell a soul." I caved, rolling my eyes at myself for giving in to my best friends.

"We won't." They chorused, chuckling like little five year olds.

"To the grave?" I asked, just making sure.

"We fucking promise, Madi!" Lili exclaimed, making me chuckle, "now tell us, please!"

"Alright!" I started, laying back on my bed, "so you know the way we all went to dinner about two weeks ago?"

They both nodded, as if they were preparing themselves for a murder story or something.

"Basically, Kj took me home, and he may or may not have stayed the night." I told them, pausing specifically to see their reaction. Cami let out a squeal and Lili jumped off the bed in excitement.

"You fucked?!" She yelled, giving me the cheesiest grin I had ever seen.

"That's not it! I'm not finished Lili sit down!" I told her, sitting up so fast I nearly gave myself whiplash. "Then, the next morning, I told him to come get into my bed to cuddle because I was 'cold' and then we fucked, and guys, it felt so mother fucking good!"
