01. REAL LIFE

~MADISON~

The yelling in the streets was loud. Very loud. I mean it was a Friday night, so there was definitely a good few people out at bars and nightclubs.

It was 2:16am. I had just gotten back to LA from Vancouver, where I was helping around on the set of a famous tv show called Riverdale, I think. I was just an intern, getting coffee and shit for the directors and makeup people and all, but I got paid for it, even if I wasn't supposed to.

I never really spoke to the cast except Lili. She was the best, she was always telling me what they were filming and what everyone else was doing on set. I was only happy to be there because of her.

She introduced me to the redhead that played Archie Andrews. Ken I think his name was. Definitely something that started with a K.

I rubbed the back of my neck while fumbling with my keys, trying to find the one that unlocked my front door. While setting my suitcase and carry-on down by the door, I was greeted by my puppy Buddy, and my brother Max.

He and his girlfriend were taking care of Buddy and my apartment while I was gone.

"Hey, Buddy!" I greeted, looking up at my lanky brother, "where's Gemma?"

"She went to get a pizza." He chuckled, "before you came home."

I nodded. "This place looks good. Did you clean it?"

"Yeah," he nodded back at me, "we spent all of yesterday and this morning cleaning. We even gave Buddy and bath and got you more bottles of Fiji water."

I chuckled, walking over to my refrigerator and opening the door. There was in fact around 30 more bottles of Fiji water on the bottom shelf. I took one out and opened it. "Thanks, Maxy."

"So tell me about Vancouver..." he said, leaning against my Island.

"Oh, it was fucking amazing. Absolutely incredible. All the people there are so nice and the views were amazing." I told him, standing across from him and taking a long drink from my bottle of water.

"What about the set of Riverdale? What did you think about that?" He asked, walking around my island to get a bottle of water from the fridge too.

"All the people that worked there were so nice. I never really talked to the cast except Lili Reinhart. The set was really big as well, and we were outside half of the time." I said, just as my phone pinged, indicating I had gotten a new text message.

Lili Reinhart:
Hey Madi, hope you got home safe, see you soon xx

Me:
Yep, everything's okay. Thanks Lili xx

"Is that your new actor friend?" Max asked me, looking over my shoulder at my phone screen.

"Shut up." I mumbled, as a short knock sound throughout my apartment. Max went to go answer the door, to find Gemma standing there with two pizzas and a massive bottle of coke.

"Hey, Gem!" I said, while she set the pizza and coke down on the island. She waddled towards me, engulfing me in her uber long arms and rocking me back and forth.

"Heyyy! How's my Madi been?!" She asked, her slight Hispanic twang making me grin.

"I've been doing great! What about you? Oh my god, did Buddy behave for you while I was gone?" I asked, causing a short huff to come from Max's direction.

"What?" I asked him, turning to look at him.

"How come you didn't ask me all of those questions when Gem wasn't here?" He pouted. I laughed at him and quickly apologised.

"Sorry Maxy," I chuckled, walking around the island and embracing his tall figure, "I just didn't think you were that interested to be honest."

"I was joking, sissy. Anyway, let's get this pizza into us before it gets cold." He grinned, planting a short kiss to the top of my head and walking towards the large boxes of pizza.

"I got your favourite!" Gemma informed me, making me smile. Gem always knew how to make me smile, and I loved her for it.

"Thanks, Gemmy."

Whelp, that's it for the first chapter guys!
Basically I decided to make a Keneti James fan fiction cause I've been obsessed with him so much recently, especially since that start of Riverdale S3.

Anyway, so basically, this story is gonna be a mix of Instagram, Snapchat, and iMessages between every one included in the story, as well as some of the regular chapters where I write my butt off !!

Can't wait! Anyway I hope you all enjoy this story!
