Chapter 2~Moving Where?

Max POV

I made my way inside the pack, already seeing most of the pack here already. I look around to see if the people from school made it here yet, and they did. I made my way up to the front of the pack to stand behind my father on his left side, since his beta was on his right side. In my mom was on his left hand side.

The pack was talking amongst themselves trying to figure out why the alpha had called an emergency meeting. My father was getting impatient and growled really loud that caused the whole pack to quiet down.

My father cleared his throat, about to explain why the sudden emergency call meeting.

"I know you may all may be wondering why I have called this sudden emergency meeting," he said looking around at the whole pack. We had roughly around a hundred members in our pack making us the second largest pack in the country. Our pack was called The Dark Moon Pack, the largest pack in the country was called the Blue Moon Pack.

"I have called this meeting to tell the pack that we are moving." This caused an outbreak and numerous conversations all at once.

My father held up his hand to silence the pack and regain the attention.

"We are moving because they are a lot of hunters coming to this area, and I want what's best for the pack, we leave in one day. The day after today. That should be enough to gather all your belongings."

Once the alpha said something it was absolute, there was no arguing. They was a chorus of 'yes alpha, right away'.

"You are dismissed to go pack right now, no one is to leave the pack ground, until they are done packing."

The pack left to go pack all their belongings in start a new life, but not me. I wanted reasons, why we didn't stay and fight, but the main reason being because she was buried here, and I did not want to leave her.

My father left to go to his office, his beta following after him. I followed him to his office wanting my explanation.

"Matt could you leave me and my father alone so that we could discuss some things." I said while looking at my father. Matt bowed his head and soon left.

"Son, aren't you supposed to be pac..."

I cut him off, "why aren't we fighting the hunters?' I jumped right to the question.

He signed, bringing his hands across his face, in a tired manner.

"Son, can we not do this."

If he thinks I'm just going to leave it at that then he must be extremely mistaken.

"Why dad? Why are we not fighting the hunters like we did before, why are we running away like a dog with its tail between its legs." I questioned moving forward toward my father desk, slamming my hands down on it. That seemed to anger my dad because the next thing I know is that the chair that was closes to him goes flying across the room.
