Chapter 4~Alpha Derrick

Max POV

I been driving for 6 hours now, and I was getting mad. I knew we’ve reach Blue Moon Pack territory an hour ago, but how big is this territory. Luke was sitting in his car seat, and he was getting very anxious and the back. Luke did not like sitting down or still for long periods of time.

“Luke, sweety, we almost there.”

“This is your eighth time saying that, I’ve been counting.”

I sighed inwardly, this child, I decided to distract Luke, from how much time was pasting. I put the Disney mix that I made for him into the CD player. Under the sea started playing, I continue following my dad when I see a gated fence in front of me. I slowly pull to stop behind my dad, while they open the gate for us so that we can be let in. The gate was about 8 feet tall, looking at the gate, you think that they’re trying to keep zombies out of their territory.

I can say one thing for sure though their territory was huge. I can see why my pack was first place loser.

I slowly pull my car into the gates in took in my surroundings. I gasp the scenery was absolutely breathtaking. There was no houses or buildings insight but the green forest was beautiful. The trees look like they were dancing in the wind. There was light shining through the leaves and it looked amazing.

We’ve continued driving where there was starting to be less trees and more road pavement. What I saw did not prepare me. This pack had their own city inside their territory. It looked like a downtown. You could see people walking along the cross walks, some would stop and stare at the unfamiliar scents.

I ignored the bystanders and continued to follow my dad. It seems like we were leaving the city and getting closer to some houses. The street was no longer concrete it started to turn back in to dirt pavement. Trees were coming back into sight.

I look to my left and I can see some wolves following our cars. Wow, this pack is super cautious, I guess not a lot of visitors visit this pack. This pack was completely isolated from the state.

After five minutes of continuous driving, it finally seems we’ve reached our destination because my dad had stop his car. I turned off my engine and look around. In front of me was the biggest house I ever seen. This house was bigger than my house. I wonder if I should even call this house a house it was more like two mansions put together. Just by looking at the house, I can tell I was going to have to a hard time finding my place around the house.

I got out of the car and went to the backseat to get Luke out of his car seat. I place him on the ground and held his hand so he wouldn’t get lost. Not like he was going to. When Luke gets around certain people he doesn’t know, so more like strangers he goes into this weird mode and won’t come out of it for a whole week.

I walked up to my dad, and see him conversing with a man that seems to be round his mid-20. He was a very good looking guy. He had dirty blondish hair, with some amazing light green eyes. He wore a gray V-neck, showing off his biceps, which seemed to do him some good. He had dark jeans on and some gray vans to match his shirt.

‘Would you calm down in there, what the hell have you so antsy these few hours? Non-stop you been pacing back and forth inside of me.’ I said to my wolf. He’s been restless every since I enter this territory. ‘Is there something dangerous on this territory.’ He wasn’t answering me, which I didn’t like. ‘Sebastian, answer me.’

‘Sorry, I don’t know what’s wrong either, I just have this feeling I can’t shake off,’ said my wolf.
