A week had passed since Junhui's dream. Minghao was obviously unaware that it had even happened, but he knew something was up. The elder male just wasn't acting the same, and it hurt the boy. It was painful to not see his gè smile or laugh anymore

Heck, Minghao hardly ever saw the elder act even remotely happy. But the hardest thing for the teen was the fact that Junhui was avoiding him. What made it even worse is that he couldn't understand why. Why was the person whom he was the closest to in all of Korea not wanting a single thing to do with him

Was Jun mad at him?

Did he do something wrong?

Was he now hated by Junhui?

And it was all so sudden, so shocking to the younger. He hated it; Thinking that he could be losing his best friend, without a single clue of what to do about it. He sighed, running his fingers through his hair as he sat, slumped on the edge of the couch

"Hey Minghao-"

Too lost in his thoughts, the Chinese male hadn't noticed the boy who had joined him. Soonyoung had shuffled over, sitting next to the younger boy

"-what's up?"

Minghao jumped at the unexpected voice. Calming down, he looked up flashing a quick smile at the other. He mentally slapped himself as he continued trying to get out of his negative thoughts

"Nothing much. Just sitting on the couch."

The older boy laughed. Minghao has answered the question in a much more literal way than he had hoped

"I can see that. What I meant was, what are you thinkin 'bout."

"Honestly, nothing."

The younger's head tilted, a pout forming on his lips. Soonyoung only grinned in response, scoffing back at the other with a mocking tone

"Honestly-"

"I don't believe that."

"Why?"

"I dunno.... you just got that look."

"What look?"

"Like-"

The elder paused, ruffling his hair as he came up with an answer

"-you're worried about something."

Minghao felt his heart stop for a second. How did Hoshi know? He had tried to come off relatively calm, but I guess after living with someone for years, you get to know them pretty well. Maybe too well actually.

So, the older boy was right, he was worried. Should he be honest? Should he ask if he knows anything about his fellow Chinese member? Or should he laugh and play it off?

It was all so confusing. Why was only one week of being ignored by Junhui bothering him so much? Maybe he wasn't even being ignored, all of the members were pretty busy after all.

"Hello? Anybody there?"

Minghao's vision refocused to see two hands waving in front of my face

"This was exactly my point, you're totally worried about something."

"I am not-"

"Don't even try that with me! You legit spaced out for two minutes."

The younger sighed, looking down at his lap. He couldn't deny it anymore. He was worried, and maybe it'd be better to talk to someone.

"Hey-"

Minghao felt a hand rest on his shoulder,

"-whatever it is, you can trust me. I'm always here you for you buddy."

Looking up, he smiled at the elder

"Okay. It's a bit of a long story though."

Hoshi chuckled,

"We got time."

Nodding, Minghao sat up, rearranging the pillows to get more comfortable as he began his story

He explained it all, the time Junhui was found beaten up, how spaced out and depressed his hyung had been, and most of all how he had been avoiding him for the past week

"How did Jun get hurt?"

"He said it was a martial arts trick gone wrong, but I don't believe him."

"Wow."

The elder paused for a second, taking it all in

"Well, I'm sure he's not avoiding you Ming."

"It sure feels like it."

"He's your best friend-"

"I know, that's why it's so strange."

Minghao pouted, feeling as if he was about to cry

"I just want to know what I did wrong."

Hoshi engulfed the smaller boy in a hug, staying there for a few minutes. They didn't speak, only try and comfort each other. Once the elder saw the other had calmed down, he pulled away,

"You haven't done anything wrong. I'll even go talk to Junhui about it."

The younger's eyes widened,

"- and I won't mention our conversation. I'll just say that I've noticed his odd behaviour."

Minghao relaxed,

"You'd really do that for me?"

Hoshi nodded,

"Of course! And to be honest, I've kind of wanted to ask myself."

Nodding, Minghao smiled, feeling as if a weight had been lifted off his shoulders. He was finally going to get the chance to get some answers. This way, hopefully he could fix his relation- no,

-Friendship with Jun.
