Mingyu walked up to the door of the dorm, a bag of groceries wrapped around three of his fingers. He sighed, setting a bag down as he grabbed a pair of keys out of his coat pocket. Picking the bag back up, the male turned the key, unlocking the door
Leaning his back against the wooden surface, the door flew opened allowing him to enter. Mingyu removed the key, closing the door behind him as he walked into the kitchen. However, the boy never made it to the counter
He froze, seeing Joshua holding Minghao, whom was crying in his lap as the two sat in the couch. The boys eyes widened, dropping the bags to the floor as he ran over to the others
"What happened!"
Minghao looked up at the tall boy after hearing him yell, only earning a look of concern from Joshua. The Chinese male wiped his tears, taking a deep breath. He didn't know how to explain what had happened; heck, he was still confused by the whole situation. Still, he was going to try. A sad smile forming on his face, he nodded, signalling that he was ready to talk
"Junhui-"
"What did he do?!? Did he hurt you? Cause if he did, I swear-"
"No-"
Mingyu's anger died down, the calm tone of the younger shutting him up. Minghao stood up, walking over to the counter. He bent down, leaning against the cabinet's as a sigh left his lips
"-I actually think it's quite the opposite Gyu."
The tall boy tilted his head, a look of confusion washing over his face. Joshua stood up., walking over to the two boys. He too didn't seem to understand what Minghao had meant
"What do you mean?"
"It-It was me w-who hurt Junhui. N-not the other wa-way around."
Minghao felt more tears wanting to fall, but it seemed his eyes were all out. His system was too shocked, only the sound came out. The hallow cries echoing in his chest that saddened anyone who heard it. He pressed his hands firmly onto the counter, knuckles turning white
"Junhui, he, he said he loved me."
Joshua stood next to the boy, keeping his distance for he obviously did not want to be touched
"We all love you Minghao-"
"Not it that way."
There was a deep sense of hurt in the voice of the small male. Mingyu felt his jaw soften as he realized what had happened. Junhui hadn't hurt the other, he wasn't trying to at least
"He confessed to you, didn't he?"
Joshua's mouth went agape, the words not clicking with him. Minghao looked down at the floor, his head hanging low with a feeling of shame. His head nodded slightly, his black locks swaying in front of his eyes
"He kept apologizing, s-why was he apologizing-"
Leaning against the cabinets, the boy slid down. His body slumped down, rocking as he hugged his knees tight to his chest
"I didn't have time to explain, i want to talk to junnie, I need to talk to my junnie~"
Minghao was broken for the first time in his life. Many things had made him fall, but he always got back up. He had gotten hurt many times, but never like this. The type of excruciating pain that shocks your whole system. The type of feeling that makes you unable to think, unable to function, unable to breathe
For that's what the elder was to him, oxygen. When he was all alone in a foreign country with no one; he had one person to talk to. Junhui showed him around, helped teach him the language, helped him adjust to the culture. They were both in a whole new world, acting like a reminder of home to one another
And yet, Minghao always felt like he was the one being taken care of. The other would comfort him when he was sad, help calm him down when he was mad or anxious, sing Chinese lullaby's to him at night when he couldn't sleep at night
Junhui was his best friend, maybe it was beyond friends at this point. Whatever they were to each other, the younger knew one thing was for sure; he needed him in his life. He couldn't simply let the other boy leave due to his feelings. Especially when he felt the same way
"Then you should talk to him. Explain it all."
Minghao breathing slowed, looking up at the two boys with glassy eyes. Yes, Joshua was right, he needed to talk to him. He needed to tell his side of the story before it was too late
"But I dont know where he is! What if-"
Mingyu shushed the frantic boy, crouching down as he placed a hand on his shoulder. He took a breath, flashing a comforting smile at his friend
"We'll find him."
Minghao smiled for the first time in a while, nodding. Mingyu and Joshua both stood up and stretched their legs out. The Chinese male reached out a hand, of which Joshua grabbed, helping him up
"After all, you and Jun are each other's soulmates."
The young boy blushed slightly at Mingyu's comments. Hiding his face, he questioned the other, not believing what he said
"I'm not so sure about-"
"Well I am. It's always been Minghao and Junhui, Junhui and Minghao; the two of you are closer to each other than anyone else. It was you two against the world. Trust me, we will find him; we're not letting you two split apart. You two need eachother."
Minghao was shocked. He still didn't want to admit it, but it was all true. He needed the elder, he loved everything about the boy. There, he said it; he loved Junhui
He walked over to the couch, pressing his hand against his temples as he sat down. He couldn't let him go
Please don't say it's too late
"Please."

Heyo. This chapter is short, but this first week had been really hectic. Maybe I'll edit this later? Anyways, I haven't had much time to write, so hopefully I'll be able to at least start the next chapter over the weekend. No promises hehe. Thanks for almost 2k reads by the way. I really appreciate it. That's it! Until next time,
