Heather's pov:

I was walking out of class with Katy and Lucy when suddenly a strong pair of arms wrapped around my waist. At first I got a fright but relaxed as soon as I knew it was Beau. He was known for being trouble, but to me he was a hero.

I turned to the girls "Hey you guys go ahead, I'll catch up soon." They smirked at me as they walked towards the cafeteria.

I greeted Beau with a kiss followed by a smile. He looked down at me trying to cover the worry in his beautiful eyes.

"Babe, what's wrong?" I asked him looking at him.

He was quiet for a few seconds before replying with "Luke hasn't been himself for a couple of days and I was wondering could you maybe talk to him since he's one of your friends?"

"Me and Luke aren't the closest but I'll tell Molly to talk to him yeah?" I suggested.

"That's probably a better idea, yeah." He said with more hope in his voice, he was too cute.

We walked down the halls to the cafeteria hand in hand laughing at countless jokes we both told, everything just felt right.

As we reached the doors I told Beau to go sit with his brothers as I go get Molly. He nodded and went to sit with them.

I went over to Molly's table and motioned her over, instantly feeling discouraged. I always felt like this when I talked to Beaus brothers and their friends, they were all just so scary! I knew it was mean to think that but at 5"2 I was pretty screwed if they ever decided to take their anger out on me. Trust me I've seen them get angry before, it's pretty terrifying.

She came over once she noticed me. "Hey heather, what's up? You look scared?" She asked concerned.

"Who me? Please, I'm fine!" I rushed.

"Well what's the matter then?" She questioned.

"It's Luke, he's needs you." I answered.

Her face flashed with concern and made a quick turn in the direction of his table.

I caught up with her, watching her face turn into worry. I felt sorry for making her do it but Luke needed her and I knew she wouldn't refuse.

Once we reached their table Molly ran up to Luke who's head was on the table, covered by his arms, as I walked over to Beau who grabbed my hand and started to rub small circles on my hand trying to calm me down. This gesture was so simple but so sweet, no wonder I loved him.

Turning back to Luke I softly called his name. His head snapped glaring at me and Molly but it softened when he saw our worry.

"Oh hey guys." His voice cracking. He seemed so down and on edge.

I nudged Molly and she understood quickly asking Luke if she could speak to him privately. He nodded and silently stood up, Beau moving into his seat, placing me on his lap as he did so, filling Jai in on his most recent trip to the principles.

Molly's pov:

We made small talk about the trouble we had recently been in with teachers until we reached the library. Walking through the doors I walk straight to the bean bag area. It was empty back here so we could talk freely without the worry of anyone listening in. We sat down and I looked at him. He looked like he hadn't slept in days.

"Talk to me Luke." I sighed. "Please just tell me if you're okay?"

He looked down at the floor apparently finding it more interesting than me. I lightly knocked my knees against his.

"No, I'm not." He croaked.

I decided it was best to just change the subject and try to take his mind off it. Half an hour later were walking back.

Just as were about to enter the cafeteria again he pulls me back.

"Thanks for the talk, I needed someone to be normal with for a while." He smiled.

"Anytime." I assured as we both went to finish our lunch.
