24 March 2019:

This book has 22,252 words. Yep, sorry for the author's note weird beginning, I just needed to put it there to remind myself... and I guess other people?

Anyways, wow. Second novella of the year that I have written to completion, shortly after my first one. Truth be told is I kind of preferred the other novella's plot to this, but after reflecting and writing this right now... I'm thinking that I like this book more in general?

Weird, lmao.

Anyway, I will definitely be doing a sequel because how can I end the book like that? No spoilers as to what the sequel will be like, though.

I think that the process for writing this book... was there even a process? I feel like I didn't even write the book though there are fourteen pieces of evidence to say that I did. Wow, this author's note is, like, going in all directions.

I think Death's pretty cool. The character, not the matter of death. She/He/They was so fun to write and I really want to work on personifying her/him/them more in the sequel. Death would be a fun friend to have, yup.

Overall, I don't know how to feel about this book. I would love to work on combining the sequel with it after the competition, or extending it to a full length novel. I'll see how it goes.

Peace out?

Peace out!

[In hindsight, this author's note idea was pretty bad]

5 May 2019: [Latest Update]

Since this book was not longlisted and has not received any significant attention (reads or mentions alike), it clearly was a mistake. I would go on to talk about how I put my heart and soul into the plot and characters and how much I loved the story but that will clearly do nothing.

So as of today, this book has been devalued since its value is not appreciated in the Wattpad community.
