Chapter Nine

Hey guys!!
I am on vacation but I wanted to get this out to you. No chapter next weekend, since this story is posted every other Saturday.
P.S. these authors notes will be short so I can just get strait into the story. I write chapters longer than normal since I post every other weekend.

LISA'S POV

" Your with Cole?!" Ali screamed over face time.

" Yes I'm with Cole!" I smiled at her.

It is the next day after the concert. Since Shawn and I are going over to Cole's house in a few minutes I decided to FaceTime Ali and catch her up on everything that has happened in my life so far since my birthday. I didn't realize how much I haven't told her, I mean we text everyday but it's harder to tell her big major things over text message. I am back at my house since Brendon left this morning before I went to school. I am in my bikini swim suit, and I am wearing my Twenty One Pilots concert t shirt over the top since I don't want to be full on in my swim suit yet.

" I can't believe you waited this long to FaceTime me to tell me! And I'm surprised that Shawn hasn't told me." Ali said, as she laid on her bed.

" I'm sorry. I have just been busy with getting use to Brendon being in my life still, and cheer along with having Cole. Also trying to keep a friendship with Shawn. He doesn't seem to thrilled about going over to Cole's in a few minutes." I breathed, running my hands through my long black hair.

" Why?" Ali asked.

" I don't know, he's been acting weird ever since Bree has had a new interest in my best friend." I replied, rolling my eyes at the mention of Bree.

" Um hello I'm your best friend." She gasped.

" I know dumbass, you and Shawn are both my best friends." I said, shaking my head at her.

" You know what the problem is. It's Bree, I bet you anything she is slowly taking Shawn away. I mean he hasn't really messaged me since I came back after your birthday. I even actually miss that kid." Ali sighed, and she looked home sick.

" Really he has not texted you at all?" I asked surprised.

Shawn is just as close with me as he is with Ali. I'm about ready to kick his ass for not talking to Ali.

" No.. I've tried reaching out and seeing how he is doing with his parents splitting. That was the last thing he told me, but now nothing. After you mentioned Bree I knew my answer on why he hasn't been texting me. Bree hates me just as much as she hates you." Ali reminded me.

" Lisa, Shawn's here!" I heard my mom yell from down the stairs.

" Okay, you can send him up!" I yelled back.

" I'll let you go." Ali said, and she looked sad.

" No Ali we've got time. Our original plan was to face time you and watch F.R.I.E.N.D.S. Just because I am with Cole and he is waiting does not mean I am going to turn my back on my best friend even if you are in another state." I assured her, and I could tell that made Ali feel better.

" Thanks."

I saw out of the corner of my eye Shawn walking in. He is wearing his swim shorts, and has a dark blue t shirt on. He walked over to my bed and sat down next to me. When he did I smacked him hard over the head, which made Ali laugh.

" Ouch, what the fuck was that for Lisa?" Shawn growled, as he rubbed his head.

" Why have you been ignoring Ali? She misses you and she is hurt by it! Nobody hurts Ali, even if that person is you." I warned him.
