"Mom! Why didn't you wake me up! I'm going to be late!" I yelled running down the stairs. My mom and Dad were sitting at the kitchen table. "Lindy can we talk?"
"Am I in trouble" I sit down next to my mom. My mom made pancakes. She never makes breakfast, besides toast.
"Well your Mom and I have been thinking-"
"Yes?" Will they just tell me!
"We've decided to pull you out of gymnastics, we know you love it, but we don't like what it's doing to you. Your grades are slipping and you seem stressed." My mom smiles at me.
I stare down at my pancakes, gasping for air. Stressed? Who does she think she is? My counsler?
"No! You can't do this to me! I love gymnastics! Mom, Dad! Please!" I screamed at them.
"Our decision has been made" My mom answered. This can't be happening! I grabbed the pancake and threw it at my mom.
"I hate you guys!" I screamed, leaving my mom with pancake on her face.
I screamed and cried uncontrollably, barely breathing.
"Lindy? Lindy! Wake up!" Someone shook me.
I sat straight up, sweat dripping down my face, gasping for breath. Carter sat down on the edge of my bed.
"What's wrong?" He asked. I finally woke all the way up and realized that it was just a dream. I smiled at him.
"Yah ok well you better get ready for practice, it's Saturday." He stared at me suspiciously. I nodded. It was just a dream!
