A/N- Yes, I am going to complete this book *everyone cheers*. I've planned out the next few chapters and I'm liking it so far. Ok I think I've rambled on enough! Roll the clip! I mean book!
"Lindy let's go!" My mom turned off the t.v.
"Mooooom!" I whined, I was almost finished with the first season of Dance Mom's!
A/N- One of the best shows!
"I don't want any attitude. No more Dancing Moms!"
"That's not even what the show is about!" I smirked. She pursed her lips tight and threw the car keys to me.
"Go start the car" She growled. I started the car and turned on the radio.
And I'm just gonna shake
shake
shake
shake
shake
shake it off
shake it off
This was my jam. I started to sing but I probably sounded like a beached whale. I stopped when my mom and Carter climbed into the car. In 5th grade I signed up for choir and the teacher told me very politely that maybe art was my calling. So much for being the new Ariana Grande. When the song was over my Mom spoke up.
"You think you'll make it?" She ran a traffic light.
"The qualifiers?" I gulped, I really wanted to make it. I know my mom wanted me to too. She had a chance to be an Olympic gymnast but decided to have a family instead.
"Yes, the qualifiers." She honked at the car in front of us.
"I don't know maybe." I turned and looked at Carter. Mom never drove like this. Something was up.
"Well just have an I-Can-Attitude Sweetie!" She returned to her old self. We pulled up to the gym.
"Ya thanks for the advice." I walked into the gym.
Home.
"I hope you fall" Someone whispered in my ear.
I turned to see Cassie. Sweet, innocent, lovable, aweso- who am I kidding. Cassie (insert whatever name you would like to call her!).
"What do you want?" I snarled.
"The Olympic Qualifying Meet." Cassie smirked.
"Ya well I wanted it first!" I stared down at my feet.
A/N- Wow wonderful comeback Lindy! Just Wow.
"Ya ok well best of luck!" She smiled a clearly fake smile.
"Okay girls come over here." Coach Lisa's voice echoed through the gym.
"So for practice today we will do our usual warm up and then we'll finish with the mini-meet."
The warm ups went quickly and then it was time.
"Lindy you'll go first. Lets try to get through everybody today, lets go people!" Coach Lisa yelled holding a clip board.
"Ok, we've finally finished, give us a minute and we'll post the list on my office door."
Hallie and Jenna squeezed my arms. I thought I performed ok. But so did Hallie and Jenna. Cassie stumbled just a little bit on one of her landings, that was promising. Coach came out with a list and a swarm of girls crowded around the door.
"I'll check for us!" Hallie smiled and I nodded then bit down hard on my lip.
"I hope our names are on that list." Jenna whispered.
"Yah me too." I forced a smile.
This was it, this was my chance.
