My Bitter Sweet Husband 》Yoo Kihyun

12am,midnight..

After a long day of work, Kihyun felt at ease because the day was over. He headed to the front door and opened it with his keys.

Is she waiting for me again? He thought, as he could hear noise coming from the living room tv.

He slowly and quietly opened the door to sneak in. As he entered he noticed his wife laying on the couch.

Ahh jjinja, she fell asleep once again he laughs to himself.

He turned on the reading lamp, and turned off the TV. Even though he is tired, he wants to put her to bed first.
As he bent over to pick her up, she felt warm to the touch. In fact, a little too warm. She was burning hot.

"Yah, Ji Eun-ah are you okay? Do you have a fever?" He shakes her shoulders lightly but there was no response. He checks her forehead and indeed she had a fever.
He dropped his bag, picked her up and took her to the car.
He drove her to the hospital since he doesn't know exactly how long she's been unconcious for.

Luckily, the emergency room was still open at this time and Kihyun carried his wife inside.

"Jogiyo! Doctor can you please help my wife!"

"Yes sir, what happened?" The doctor asked as he does a quick check up on her.

" I found her in our living room passed out. I thought she was just sleeping but she wasn't responding to me and she is burning hot. I don't know how long she's been unconcious for so I brought her here right away..!" Kihyun said all in one go, since he was panicking and worried about his wife.

"Ahh I see. Well Mr. Yoo we'll admit her here for the night and look after her. Unfortunately visiting hours are over and so you can't  be with her at this time. You can go home and visit her tomorrow morning."

"But Doc, I want to know if she will wake up and if she is okay,,?"

"We'll let you know tomorrow morning, or we will let her know and she can keep you updated." The Doctor pats him lightly on the back, then the nurse takes her to her room.

Meanwhile Kihyun sadly walks away and heads to his car.

"Ji Eun ah, mianhae.. I hate do this but we can get through it together." He sighs and drives back home.

The Next Morning..

Ne, yoboseyo?

[Ne, annyeonghaseyo Mr.Yoo. Its me Dr.Kim from last night. We wanted to inform you about your wife.]

Ahh ne, how is she??

[This morning when we checked on her, her fever went down and she is much better now. She can be discharged later in the afternoon or tomorrow. Whichever works for you.]

Arraseoyo, kumawo. Dr.Kim, I'll come by in the afternoon to pick her up. Please let her know for me. Kamsahamnida.

Surprise?? What kind of surprise? Ottoke, I still have to go with my plan though. Aishh whatever, she is my wife after all. I should look after her.
