2 years later..
Kihyun was laying on the couch watching TV while Ji Eun was putting their baby to bed.
Ji Eun quietly leaves the nursery room and gently shuts the door. Kihyun noticed and lowered the volume of the TV. He sat up, looked at his wife and motioned her to sit beside him. They cuddled each other on the couch while watching TV. Then kihyun asks..
"Hey babe.., how did you do all that stuff?"
"Do what?" She slightly peers up and looks at him
"You know, those video footage set up in your car? The little recording device on your shirt when we were kidnapped?? How did you manage all that??"
She looked at him with a puzzled look as they both sat up, facing each other.
"Kihyun that was 2 years ago? Why do you ask?"
"I mean..I guess I didnt really ask what your plans were after highschool and I just realized how much ive missed about you.."
"Wah, I dont even know what my wifes interests are, and what career plans you wanted.. instead I married you and turned you into a housewife.." he sighed.
"Im sorry babe.."
"Aww, kihyun ah dont be upset. I understand that you were busy with your career, your fans, your members, and living your dream. Honestly I loved everything about your passion in music thats why I agreed to marry you so that I could support you all throughout. It might not have been the best situation at the time knowing now that it was part of your plan against your manager forcing you to focus on your job..but I'm okay with it, I really am"
"But, honestly though tell me everything about you. Let's start from the beginning, not necessarily all the way back to the very beginning..but tell about this new beginning that I missed."
"Soo, pretty much the beginning of our marriage?" She smiles.
"Yes maam"
"Well then, make sure your schedule is cleared for the rest of tonight because its gonna be a long ride"

Author POV

After highschool graduation, Ji Eun wanted to pursue the same career as her husband or should I say boyfriend at that time. However, she was unfortunately rejected many times by companies and on the 2nd year of trying, she finally got in as a trainee. She secretly trained for atleast 2 years and had the chance to participate in a survival show. Unfortunately, things took an unfortunate turn when she was eliminated in the final round of a survival show that she was in. She was upset and heartbroken but wanted  to keep pursuing her dream or so she thought. Until one day she decided to give up completely on becoming an Idol and tried applying for a University. It took her awhile to choose classes to take that will lead her to her future career; every single one she tried was full of seats. She tried going into med school but the seats were full and she didnt have enough time until the application deadline. The only other option available with many seats open was; Policing/Detective. She took the Police Academy entrance exam once and passed on the first try. From then on she continued pursuing this job and did her very best to finish and graduate from her class. 3 years before they got married, Ji Eun graduated and was accepted at the Police Precinct that she applied in. She exceled at a lot of areas and was then advanced to be working as a Detective.For years that her husband was training and pursuing his dream, she too pursued hers but without him knowing due to all the pressure of training as an Idol which she had a bit of experience.

Back to Ji Eun and Kihyun..

"Youve been hiding all of this from me??" He asked shocked.
"Well kind of but I wouldnt say I was hiding it"
"Then?"
"Well, I'd say more like we were doing our own separate things and honestly if we look back on the years before we got married, a lot of it was fluffy highschool sorta love. I-I-- mean thats where we started really,ya know in highschool. But after solving our problems with our marriage, looking back and reflecting on our past selves; it makes sense why we did what we did."
"Yeah I guess that is true"
"And Kihyun, at that time I was still living with my parents so they know a lot about it. Also after we married, I took a few years off knowing that you were gonna need me by your side. And I wouldve loved to tell you about my plans if you only asked at that time.."
"Yeah I shouldve, because I know you're an open book well atleast for me you are. But I wasn't really reading you and remembering every detail about you.." she placed her hand on top of his and said

"But Im glad you asked about it now, and Im glad that ive stuck by your side no matter what the odds are.. because I love you.. I really do..so much" a tear escapes from her eyes
"Aww babe, dont cry, youre gonna make me cry too.. I love you more." he smiles, as a tear escapes his eyes too

Kihyun reaches for her face and wipes the tears as she does the same, their foreheads touch and in the silence the light sobs, and giggles are a form of emotions that they are expressing for their love with one another. The End.
