"Tane!" Naruto happily yelled, running up to me and hugging my waist before I could even enter the academy building.

"Hi, Naruto." I laughed, ruffling his hair as I always did. He looked up at me, happily. I smiled and kneeled down to his height.

"Before we play, I have to talk to Iruka about something. Is that alright, Naruto?" I asked, my hands placed on his shoulders. He nodded and skipped off to where Sasuke was, happily talking to a small group of girls. Wasn't he the center of attention today.

"Iruka." I called once I saw him. He smiled and waved, quite unwillingly, might I add. He was one of the people who didn't like me.

"Hello, Tane." He greeted. I nodded back to him.

"I need to discuss something with you. It has to do with Naruto." His eyes widened and he led me to his empty office before closing the door behind him.

"What is it?"

"I am fairly sure that something may happen to me in the next couple of months."

"What makes you say that?"

"It's...a feeling. But in any case, if I am to be gone, I want you to take care of Naruto. Take him under your wing, make him feel accepted. Normal. I don't want that boy to become like many in the Uchiha have because of lack of love." I told him. I didn't know what it was, but when I had spent time with Naruto the other day, he kind of grew on me. It was his cuteness, yes, but also his cheerfullness. Even though the whole village can't help but loathe him, he stays positive. He stays happy.

That's what I admire about him. A seven year old.
