"Why are we here, Lauren?" Camila asked animatedly, looking for a better bereavement within the club. She felt all of the sudden elated with the crowd forming around them, Lauren on the other hand caresses her forehead as she was searching for her friend, Dinah. She felt gradually exasperated and that didn't seem pleasing, Dinah told her that she would love to meet Camila, hence she would instantly love the young Latina, that she can assure. But choosing a night club wasn't what she was expecting, it was a last minute decision, knowing Dinah, she would not take no for an answer.
The older Latina tightened her grip on Camila as they walked through the sweaty crowd, hyper aware of Camila's uneased nature when it comes to these things. Also annoyed by the fact that she shouldn't have dragged her here in the first place, knowing that it was undeniably a very freighting idea for her to persist. She shouldn't have lost the sensibility of comfort and secure towards the brown eyed girl, she very much would've choose a cup coffee than the smell of alcohol passing by her nostrils.
"You!" A voice called out from behind them, Camila was quick to whip her head tugging Lauren to slow down.
Dinah was expeditious to waltz towards them, her giddy ramp gave away her drunken state, Lauren had to present herself first, her eyes were quick to give Hansen a blatant stare as her brows met in a sublime diction.
"You're drunk" The older girl stated calmly, with utter disappointment.
Dinah somehow discarded Lauren's statement looking behind her friend as she enclosed the distance between them, Camila tensed when the younger Latina eyed her, merely giving away a hint of what she was thinking. The green eyed girl forcefully pushed Dinah in a compatible extent to ease Camila's uptight demeanor.
"You must be Camila" Dinah formally reaches out her hand to Camila, she was a lot more conscious of whom she was talking to. She couldn't have Lauren hating over her immature behavior, sensing Camila's hesitation, Dinah lightly smiles as if that was all it takes for Camila to ease up.
"The name's Dinah" Lauren added before Camila could even shook Dinah's hand.
They both exchanged small sentiments, before Lauren could sense Camila's indirect loss of comfort with hundreds of people consuming the same air as them, Camila had to constantly shut her eyes to calm herself. The brown eyed girl's hand was getting clammy every second, it was difficult for her to say anything knowing the built up anxiety being a burden of it. But Lauren doesn't even have to be told when she whispered to Dinah dragging Camila out of the busy club on an instant.
Camila's vision slowly adjust to the dark alleyways where the three of them were, she blinks a few times before she caught a glimpse of Lauren's worried features frenzied by her elated eyes.
"Better?" Lauren asks in a hush as she looks distraught.
"Better" Camila simply states.
Dinah cleared her throat looking between them as if contemplating on what to say. She looks at Lauren in deep thought, her head still buzzing from the alcohol that she consumed. Then she smiled bashfully at Camila when an idea popped out, she slowly walks an inch closer to her before she looks smugly at Lauren. The green eyed girl raises her brow when she slowly puts a hand on Dinah's shoulder.
"Dinah" Lauren says in a warning tone.
"I would love to know you more" Dinah paused before giving the older girl a wink, "How about my place?" Lauren wasn't oblivious about her intentions, Dinah always likes it dirty. She before was like Dinah.
"Way to be subtle" Lauren rolls her eyes, "But no Dinah, let's call it a night. We're heading home" she slowly looks at Camila in a very unusual manner, before she forcefully smiles at her.
