WARNING: (There's not many mentions of anything too bad, but I wanted to let you guys know, just in case.) This might cause triggers for some. If you want to skip this chapter, it may be best. If not, I'll put something in where I think it's safe to start reading again.

...

Master had been smiling the whole time. When I said I was free, I was terribly wrong. He had beaten me with silver, what was left of my white fur was a muddy red. I remember how Master was less cruel when I was quiet, so I make sure to stay silent. He just left the dark room. I'm cuffed to the wall by silver and my own skin is betraying me, the burning sensation overtaking my thoughts, making me feel weak. The floor is silver, but so much blood and other bodily fluids cover it I can barely feel the pain. It's disgusting, but I won't say a word. It's not like I can in wolf form anyway. The door opens, leading to a black nothingness. Master stands at the opening holding a black bag.
"Hello, mutt. Ready for some fun?"
I whimper in my mind. No showing weakness, as Master told me many times before.
I stand and growl, to prove that I won't back down.
"I'll break you as I did before you dirty little..."
Another voice cuts Master off.

...

"She's not going to make it, Alpha. Her vitals are fine, but she's not going to heal."
"You better make sure she does, or I'll have you stripped of your position, Doctor. She saved our pack. She saved our lives. We owe her this much."

...

Master sneers.
"You're Mine."
I growl again.
"Seems you've forgotten all the lessons I taught you, but you'll learn them quickly this time, pup."
I bare my teeth and give a low warning noise. That's my first mistake.

...

I've been in this demon's grasp for what feels like forever. Master has tortured me in many ways, but he will not break me, or so I believe. I shake my head, no I will not be broken, but a voice deep inside knows he has already won. I know he's already won, but I won't ever admit it.
"Mutt."
I cower at the name.
I will not be broken.
"Mutt!"
I curl into a ball.
I will not be broken.
"MUTT!"
I put my paw over my eyes.
I will not be broken.
Master comes over and grabs what's left of my scruff.
"When I say 'Mutt' you know to look at me. So why didn't you, you ungrateful little brat?"
I look down at my ratty tail.
"LOOK AT ME WHEN I SPEAK TO YOU."
I look into Master's unforgiving eyes. They're hard, bleak, and cold. The eyes of a man who has no soul. He's lost his purpose, his happiness. Master lost his mate. His true love. Something I will never have, he says. Something I don't deserve.
Master grabs my snout and looks me right in the eye.
"I HAVE beaten you, mutt. And I will find you, wherever you may be. Just know that."
He spits on me and the world fades to black.

...

(IF YOU SKIPPED YOU CAN START READING HERE. Basically all that happens is that her Master is cruel to her and then he disappears.)

...

I lay in a never ending pool of darkness. Days, weeks, and maybe even years could have passed by, and I couldn't tell the difference. I'm completely alone. I've called out all the names of what I've lost.
My mother.
My dignity.
My father.
My happiness.
My brother.
My love.
My pack.
My strength.
My wolf.
My life.
All of it is gone, and will never return. And there's nothing I can do to change it. I'm falling and flying at the same time. I'm swimming and drowning. I'm hurt but healing. I'm living and dying.

I'm stuck, but yet, free.
