A bright light shot in through my window and I found this strange due the fact that I had blackout curtains. After my eyes finally adjusted to the light I could make out a handsome face smiling at me . My half asleep brain automatically told me to attack, for some reason I lack logic when I wake up.
I grabbed the closest object to me, which happened to be my memory foam pillow, and hit him with it. I suppose he wasn't expecting this because he fell over with a look of shock on his face. "Jace?!" I looked down at him, irritation painting my features. "Ow.. Hey Rai ." He smirked up at me, rubbing his head tenderly. The light from my open window made his black hair turn almost burgundy and his eyes an icier blue than they were before. He looked at me, it was so easy to read the emotions in his eyes, but I was unfamiliar with the emotion he had showing in those blue orbs. Maybe I'd learn if I hung around a bit more.

She was looking at me and I was looking at her, her short brown hair looked copper in the sunlight and her green eyes were completely gold. I knew she was searching my eyes for something she couldn't understand.
I cleared my throat, and looked away as I got up. She was already across the room before me, grabbing clothes to change into for the day. She turned to sheepishly look from me to the door.
I left the room and made my way down stairs, I noticed a drawer that was on the verge of being trashed. I walked over to fix it when I noticed a few doctors notes and letters that were never sent. Out of curiosity I picked up the clutter of doctors notes with messy writing. The first one was strange.. it read 'We can't seem to figure out what you have. We'll continue the tests on the samples you sent us.'
I quickly dropped the notes back into the drawer, leaving everything as it was. Was something wrong with Rai?
I only met her 2 days ago and I'm already attached... Is she..
I turned to the stairs as I heard the stairs creak. Rai was looking at me, smiling widely as she ran down the stairs. She was wearing a 'fall off boy' t-shirt and jeans that made her look really cute.
She wasn't mine, but I couldn't lose this..
