Love, let's talk about love
Is it anything and everything you hoped for?
Or do the feeling haunt you?
I know the feeling haunt you

"It's so beautiful here and calm," I murmur as we step foot on Alma Beach in Jaffa, Israel.

"We are going to be here for a while so maybe it will help your depression," Nora says.

"For how long?" I ask.

"Maybe a month or so. We will be back into for Jax's visitations startup," Red replies.

"Let's go to our hotel so we can get some rest," Nora says.

We leave the beach and go straight to the hotel. We settle in and I get Makai situated on my bed and lay beside him. We have had a long flight for this sudden trip. I hate being so far from Jax but Nora and Red convinced me that this would be best.

Makai has noticed his father's absence and it's heartbreaking. Makai was on a routine when he was with Jax. They would wake up, eat, cuddle, sleep, eat, and repeat. It makes me sad.

Jax called before we left and we talked for a while but then I had to go because Jax ran out of time. It was heartbreaking to hear his voice knowing I wouldn't be seeing his face for a while. I cried after hanging up.

FLASHBACK...

My phone starts ringing as an unknown number pops up on my phone. I answer it and put it to my ear. The voice of the automated woman fills my ears. I blur most of it out as I wait for Jax's voice.

"Hey, baby," Jax says.

"Hey," I murmur.

"How are you? How are you holding up?" Jax asks.

I sigh as I look at Makai. "I'm depressed," I reply.

"Well don't be. I will be home before you know it," Jax states. "You have to be strong for Makai because he needs you."

"Seven long years," I murmur.

"I could get out on good behavior you know," Jax says.

"Yeah but it's still a long time. That's years you'll never get back," I reply.

"I know, babe," Jax says.

"How long do we have to talk?" I ask.

"A few more minutes," Jax replies. "I want you to be happy. Don't dwell on this. I want to see you every chance you get and I want you to get a job at the parlor even if it's just drawing designs."

"So you want me to take your place at the shop?" I ask.

"Well, if you want to. That would be up to you," Jax replies.

"Who's going to watch Makai? I don't want to just push him on your mom, you know?" I say.

"My mom loves him and wouldn't mind. You wouldn't be gone all day and if you really wanted to, you could get Jai to watch him while you are there," Jax replies.

"Are you one hundred percent sure you want me to do this?" I ask.

"Yes, do it. Get out the house and do stuff. Don't lock yourself away," Jax responds. I smile to myself as he chuckles. "I have to go, Peach. I love you and Makai! Be good for me, bye!"

FLASHBACK ENDS...

I knock on Nora and Red's door then walk in. They both stare at me with their eyes widened. They are both naked but covered by their duvet. I walk to their bed and sit on the edge.

"Why are you in here?" Red asks.

"I, uh, I have something to tell you," I reply.

"Go on," Red murmurs.

I take a deep breath then look down at my hands. I look back up them. "I think I'm pregnant," I blurt out.

Nora's eyes widen. "Does Jax know?" Nora asks.

"No, I just found out a few minutes ago. What am I supposed to do now?" I ask.

"Tell him. Don't leave him out of the loop," Red says.

I nod. "Were you two doing the nasty before I came in?" I ask as I raise one of my brows.

"No..." Nora murmurs as she blushes.

"Okay, well, I will see you two later," I state as I stand up and wiggle my brows.

I leave the room and go back to mine. I walk over to the bed and see Makai sucking on his foot. I gently pull it out of his mouth and then I sit in front of him. I prop him up on the pillows. His eyes land on me and he smiles.

"Guess what," I say in a baby voice.

Makai giggles as I make a face at him. I bring my hands to his stomach and start to tickle him. He giggles more as tears come from the corner of his eyes. I smile as he continues to giggle.

"Mama loves you so much," I coo.

I wipe the tears off his face and kiss his forehead. Makai and I have been up since about six this morning and it's just now eight. He isn't very tired but very active. I believe he will crash about ten maybe eleven while we are out and about.

"You're going to be a big brother, Makai!"
