MASON POV:

I was finished with my shower and I got out.

My body was sore but I kept moving.

I went in my room and got dressed.

Once I was done I went to Sharon and Kyle room and searched for my phone.

I looked for it until I finally found it under their bed.

I grabbed to see it was dead.

I went back to the room and grabbed my things.

I didn't bring a lot of things for this reason right here. I knew I was going to leave.

I picked my duffel bag up and put the strap on my shoulder. I put on my book bag and walked out my room leaving nothing.

I went downstairs and walked right out the door.

My body hurt so bad but I kept moving. I seen a boy that goes to my new school.

"Hey new kid where are you going?" he asked and I looked at him.

He was in the car and he was looking at me.

My hoodie covered most of my face so he couldn't see the bruises.

"Leaving this damn state," I said to him.

"Well it's going to be a waste of time because they are going to find you with that ankle bracelet," he said making me remember.

"I'll take it off for you for twenty dollars," he said looking at me.

I gave him a nod then got in his car.

"We have to go to my house," he said.

"Don't ask how I know how to take them off," he said to me.

"I honestly don't care how you know as long as you get it off," I said with a shrug.

We pulled up to this big house.

"Nice house," I said to him.

He gave me a nod then parked the car.

I noticed he didn't live far from me.

We walked into house and it was clean and well furnished.

"Okay follow me," he said and I started to follow him.

He started to go into the basement and I followed him.

"Sit on that table," he said to me.

I did as he said and waited.
