~~•Avril p.o.v -- 12 am~~

I've been searching for hours and still nothing. I haven't slept a wink at all yet and I won't until she's been found. If I fail Mephiles then I will be dead with a snap of his fingers.

Jeez,I hope I find her soon. I DO NOT wanna be in the cold any longer.

Well my morning was a disaster. I had to spank Sonic again,treat Chris's boo-boos... It's like I'm the mother in the house. And I'm 16!

"(Y/n)..?"

Oh god. Sonic had came into the room.

"Do you... Wanna have some time outside..? Alone..?" He asked.

How could I deny?! I needed a break.

"Yeah.. Thanks Sonic.." I replied. I tied my hair up in a ponytail then went outside.

"Be back before dark!" I heard Sonic call.

"I know!" I yelled back.

I walked into the forest then took out my art book. I found a clean page and started to doodle when I heard something in the bushes. I instantly looked up from my notebook and looked around. I got the feeling that someone was behind me. I was right - Avril was approaching,but I didn't know what she was about to do.

"Avril!" I exclaimed cheerfully. "where have you been?! We were worried sick!"

Avril gave me this really weird smirk and all I got from her was a hit on the head.

"Let's just say.... I was with a friend who desperately wants to see you~" she replied.

She pinned me to the floor and all I could do was call for help. Nobody seemed to hear my calls and screams so i eventually gave up.

"Now hold still. This Will hurt just an inch~" She said in a really creepy sweet voice. I turned my head around and all I saw was a small knife.

I began to scream for help even louder. Avril lowered the knife,but I didn't feel pain at all. All I heard was a growl and a grunt.

I got up to find that mysterious Hedgehog again.

"Y...You!"

I was happy to see him.

"Get back. Now." He ordered.

I nodded and took 3 huge steps back. Before I knew it,he had beaten Avril. He turned to me and walked over.

"Are you alright,(y/n)?" He asked, concerned.

I just nodded,too shy to say a word.

"It's good to see you again,mr!"

"same here,(y/n). Same here."

That's when it hit me.
"I forgot to ask for your name!" I exclaimed,facepalming.

He chuckled a little.

"Forgetful girl." He said playfully. That got me triggered.

"You baka..."

"Anyway...." He began. "The name is sir Lancelot. But you may call me by my real name: Shadow."

"Okay.."

My heart started to beat really fast. What is this feeling..? Am I Actually.... Falling in love..?
