"Father please don't keep me here!" Her voice screamed as he dragged her into the dark room. She threw her small limbs about, thrashing and clawing at her fathers strong arms. "What did I do?!"

He threw her inside the chamber, her back colliding with the stone cold wall. Her body ached and her head spun. "Father please." The child cried in pain, desperate for an answer.

Anger grew in his face as he stormed towards her. She tried to scramble away scratching at the ashy floor. "You disappoint me." He growled as he picked her up by her neck. "You think you are equal? You think you can have fun?" He threw her again, hard into the corner.

Her head became fuzzy and she felt a trickle of blood run down her nose.

"The only reason you are still alive," Her father roared, "is because you have a small ounce of potential." His hand came down against her cheek. The noise of his hand against her cheek echoed around the room.

She stayed on her hands and knees, never looking up from the ground. A pool of her blood formed on the floor, reflecting her face in the liquid.

"You will never reach your full potential." He picked her up, "You are not worthy of your name," he spat in her face, "you are not worthy of your status," he ripped her clothes from her body, "you are not worthy to be my daughter," he struck her in her ribs and she flew across the room.

She stayed curled up on the floor in her bare skin shivering.

"You are not worthy to be one of us."

The door to her chamber slammed shut as she stormed in.

Solomon was still sitting where she left him all those hours ago. He seemed dazed and had tear stains down his face.

Lucifer rolled her eyes, Mortals.

"Leave me." She demanded from the slave.

He did not move.

"Leave my chamber," she growled and her eyes flashed green, "now."

Obediently, Solomon moved off the lounge. "Where do you wish me to go, My Queen?" He asked, no life in his voice.

Lucifer licked her lips and grinned, "Go into the bathing chamber and draw a bath. Stay there until I join you." Solomon bowed and left.

Mortals wills were easy for her to bend, especially after she broke them and shattered their souls.

Lucifer's face dimmed, sometimes she wondered if she went to far when torturing mortals. But she had seen real torture and mortals were some of the best destroyers around. If they ended up here then they deserved everything she gave them.

Lucifer walked into her sleeping chamber, two mortals lay in their bare skin in her bed. Both were very beautiful, ones hair was long and golden and her eyes sparkled liked the blue sky in the realm above and the other was strong and muscular, his strong hands perfect for her sharp talon like nails.

Both had been sinners in the mortal world. Married to different people but still slept with different men and women each night. She often enjoyed their company, they were fun and always found news ways to pleasure her.

She walked past them, they lay asleep among her many silk and satin sheets, and walked through to the room behind her sleeping chamber.

Her private library held much knowledge that mortals could dream of, books about their creation, books about the universe, knowledge of unlimited power. Each book was dangerous and powerful, all knowledge valuable to her.
