How is Ruggero so hot?!?
*****
Matteo quickly dashed over to Luna's limp body. "Luna. Luna, wake up." His voice was trembling as he tried to shake her awake. "Luna, please."

"Man up, Balsano. She's just a girl." This remark made Matteo quickly get up (avoiding to step on Luna, of course).

"Just a girl? Just a girl?" His blood boiled by every passing second. The fact that Max's face remained calm and completely unscathed by the possibility of Matteo even as far as to touch him was fusing anger inside.

"Yeah. It's not like you actually care about her, am I right?" His smirk was plastered onto his face and all Matteo desired at that moment was to wipe it right off.

"Wrong!" Matteo shouted as he wrestled Max to the ground, hitting and punching and fighting every single part, every single morsel of him. He deserved to get hurt and at this moment, dying may have been better than the wrath of what Matteo had begun bringing on him. Or maybe, he didn't even deserve to die at this moment. Of all the pain he has inflicted and the worst being on Luna, who still was very unconscious, he needed his insides mushed to pieces before he could live again (or maybe not).

Max tried everything he could to avoid the punches, but it was far too much. As people tried pulling the two away (without luck), a fist that had been aimlessly trying to get to Matteo's face, finally hit. Hard. He was left cowering on the ground, clutching a bloody nose. On second thought, let the blood spill all over Max's face. Without realizing though, Max had gotten up and was stalking towards Matteo. His body trembled as he walked but did he care?

His foot pointed and raised back behind him. Matteo attempted to get away and that was when Max decided to hit. His leg gained speed faster and faster before it collided.

"Matteo!" Pain shot up from somewhere on her body but she didn't care at all. Her breathing was fast, too fast for her to catch up. She was hyperventilating and didn't know how to stop. Then came the warm arms that wrapped around her small body and she knew who they belonged to by the way that they immediately calmed her down.

"It's okay. I'm right here." He's rubbing her back softly and all Luna can do is hug Matteo back tightly. She doesn't speak until her breathing becomes more in control. In those few seconds of breathing, it came to her realization that she, in fact, was in the nurse's office. But if Matteo is also here then...

"Are you okay, Matteo?" She asks pulling apart to look at his face. She immediately notices that his nose was all red. Not like a light pinkish-red color, but a legit red. There were even some faded stains just below it.

"Am I okay? I should be asking you that. And for the record, I'm always fine." She rolled her eyes, even in moments like these, he couldn't act less of a snob.

"I'm fine. Don't worry about me. I mean, you were the one who got smacked in the face."

"I find that hard to believe, considering the fact that you were the one to get knocked out." He pauses before continuing. "But wait, how do you know that I got punched in the face."

"Your nose," she says while gesturing towards it. It wasn't really a lie but Luna just thought it would be weird if she told Matteo that she dreamt of his beatdown that just so happened to be real.

"It was just a little bloody nose. But for you-I'm worried about you." He brought his hand to her cheek, caressing it. She leaned into his touch. Even after dating him for so long, she still can't seem to get used to the way he treats her so...so perfectly. "Tell me the truth. Are you okay?"

The thing was that she was in more pain than what could be explained in words. Her back hurt and made her flinch with even the slightest of movements. The bruise on her face tingled her face more than ever. It felt as if there were holes in her lungs. With every breath, her breathing became a hard task.

Avoiding his eyes, Luna looked down. That was when she noticed that her uniform jacket was no longer on her anymore. She lifted up her shirt and found herself staring at a large mark that started just below her bra all the way down to her belly button. It looked worse than what was identified on her face.

Her mouth gaped and she almost didn't realize when Matteo had drawn out his hand to lightly trace the mark. She withdrew quickly from his touch as a sort of agony took over her. Matteo pulled her shirt down. Looking up, she was faced with eyes that were filled with concern and she knew that she had already answered his question. She had answered it without saying a word.

"Okay, fine...everything hurts. But don't worry, I'll be fine. See I can still walk." Luna pushes Matteo out of the way and slowly takes a step forward. Her body wobbles a little but she maintains a balance. She grins over at Matteo who still looked unsure of everything.

"Luna, you look like you're drunk and will fall over any minute and I'll end up having to save you. Please sit back down." Even with the little bit of joke he added, his voice was stern. Luna simply waved at him like it were the most ridiculous thing he had asked her to do.

"How many times do I have to tell you." She took a step forward. A little more successful. "I." Another step. "Am." Another step. "Fi-" Her legs gave out and she collapsed to the ground. Well, so she thought. Matteo had caught her before she had a chance of reaching the floor. Wordlessly, he grabbed ahold of her legs and picked her up. He carried her over to the bed where she was not minutes ago.

"I'm sorry for putting you in this condition." Matteo looked down.

"What are you talking about. You didn't do anything."

"Exactly. If I had knocked the crap out of him, you wouldn't be in this state. It was silly of me to think that he would still be afraid of me" Luna went to grab his hand.

"You-" She pointed towards him. "-didn't do anything. Our plan just flawed because he figured that you weren't going to hurt him." Then she punched him in the arm.

"Ow! What was that for." He put a hand to the spot she got on his arm but didn't take his other hand out of Luna's.

"For going after him when you promised not to." Then a smile began spreading across her lips. "And this is for taking care of me."

She pulled Matteo closer to him, their lips colliding. And into the kiss, against his sweet lips, she couldn't help but smile.
