Kihyun: Appreciation

 Since you knew kihyun would most likely be home late, you decided to draw yourself a bath before bed. You set it just to your liking, got in, and read for about 10 minutes. Around that time you heard Kihyun come through the door and call for you.

"Y/N?"

"In the bath," he walked in, smiled, and pecked your lips as he greeted you. Kihyun sat down and ran his fingers through the water and occasionally up your leg as he ranted about his day. When he finally paused for breath you piped up.

"Wanna come in? It sounds like you need it," he smiled appreciatively.

"May I?"

"Of course," you smiled back. As he stripped you sat up, put your book to the side, and pulled your knees up as he got in on the opposite side. You put your feet on either side of him and asked him to carry on.

As he spoke he ran his hands up and down your legs and as you provided solution to his problems, you couldn't help a wave of love and appreciation wash over you. You took pride in the fact that he trusted you enough to tell you everything about anything, knowing that you'd provide nothing but comfort and support. And that you could do the same, no judgement from either side. It was you and him VS the problem. Not you VS him.

Soon enough the bath grew cold and although kihyun felt better you still wanted to help him relax. You pulled him towards the tv and brought some dinner, that you saved for him, and turned on his favorite show. Once he was done eating you cleaned up as he turned on a movie and when you came back with popcorn in hand he just smiled and said I love you.

You sat down, feet propped up on the coffee table, Kihyun's head in your lap, hands in his hair, and popcorn on his stomach. You both slowly growing sleepier and sleepier till the movie finally ended. You got ready for bed together and with you on his chest, fast asleep, he whispered something that everyone longs to hear.

"I love you jagiya. You're my whole world and I am so grateful that I have you. I appreciate everything you do for me and I know that you try your hardest to make me happy everyday. I strive to be as good as a partner as you. Just being in your presence makes me the happiest man in the world. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. "
