Hyungwon: New Member Of The Family

     You guys were walking around a shopping center when you stumbled upon a pet store, I'll just look I promise you pleaded and of course he gave in to your unbeatable pout and puppy dog eyes. Now it was 20 minutes later and he couldn't find you. You both were watching the fish one second and the next thing he new, you were gone.

     He knew you would stay in the store so he didn't panic but calmly searched for you. He soon spotted you halfway across the store. He stopped and smiled. You were sitting on the ground, smiling and talking to the older looking cat that sat peacefully in your lap. You felt his gaze on you and when you looked up and saw him approaching you smiled widely and waved. You then glanced down to the cat and started talking to it while occasionally glancing back to him. Before he approached you he asked an employee tending to another cat about various things and the details of the cat you were holding while you obviously talked to the cat.

     The cat's name was Wallace, Wally for short. He was one of the oldest cats there, very quiet and cuddly with certain people but also almost completely blind. He thanked the employee and turned back to you smiling. He approached you hesitantly, dreading the fact that he had to pull you away but it had to be done.

"Baby, we have to go or we'll be late to dinner," you knew this was coming.

"Awww okay," you said sadly. You told Wallace bye and left. Later that night every conversation you had seemed to drift back to Wallace and Hyungwon couldn't help but smile every time. When you got home Hyungwon said he had a quick errand to run, which struck you as odd but you thought none of it. When he left he went straight to the pet store just before closing time and found the employee he talked to earlier. When he spoke to her earlier he asked her about adopting Wally and showed her pictures of the apartment you shared and told her about his plan. She met him at the front of the store and handed him the paper work as she went to get some items for him and a carrier. He wasn't overly fond of the blind cat but he told Wally all about his plan and how happy he was going to make you on his way home.

"Baby!" he called out, poking his head inside the door with the cat carrier behind his back.

"In the bedroom!" you called back. He walked inside, set the carrier down and carefully picked Wally up and headed towards the bedroom where you were already tucked in and sat up waiting for him to return.

"I have a surprise for you," he sang as he entered holding Wally. You glanced up from your phone and gasped.

"Wally!" you exclaimed. You jumped out of bed and Hyungwon handed him off to you. You greeted Wally excitedly.

"Babe! Thank you so much but why??" you were dumbfounded, usually he would never do anything so impulsive. He just shrugged,

"I saw how happy he made you and I love you,"

"Aww, I love you too," you cooed and kissed him softly earning a mow from Wally causing you both to giggle.

      In the months that followed Wallace became your child. Hyungwon eventually warmed up to him and spent many of his afternoon naps on the couch with Wallace on his chest. Both your hearts and camera rolls were filled to the brim and your love for each other grew stronger every day.
