"Princess?" Robin whispered. "Do you want to do this?" Skye closed her eyes, and went with her heart. "Yes. Yes I want to do this." Robin's signature smirk broke out. "Grab my hand. Let's do this."
After jumping through some trees and swimming through some ink, they reached the Humpback Pump Track. The moon shone down on Skye and Robin's faces. After a comfortable silence, Skye inquired, "Robin, why are we here?" Robin smirked, and walked over to the spawn point. "A midnight turf war, of course."
Skye's face lit up. She grabbed her Splat Roller that Robin had somehow known to bring, and joined her at the spawn point.
After an easy victory for Skye and Robin, they headed back to Skye's house.
"Wait. Skye, don't go yet."
"I think that's the first time you've called me Skye."
"Well, this is important. I just... need to ask you. Can I kiss you?"
Skye was stunned. She froze for a few seconds, and then fell out of the trance. She knew what to say.
"Yes, Robin."
The kiss was gentle and sweet, like something out of a dream. And it was over all too fast. And then, Robin grabbed her octobrush, and ran off. But not before giving Skye a wink that sent her heart aflutter.
