A Brutal Broken Heart: Chapter Five

I woke up groggily and remembered what had happened last night. First of all, I almost let Blake kiss me and the Principal or the Lunch Lady could've murdered Kurt. This was all too crazy and who knows what we will find in Legoworld? Sighing, I sat up in the comfy bed and just then my phone rang. I slipped out of bed and stretched my arms. Then, I briskly ran to my cell and notice it was Blake. I answered and said sleepily, "Hello". "Paige, are you awake", He asked. "Yeah", I muttered, "What"s up". "I was wondering if we could look around the Fobe hotel for more clues before everyone wakes up", He explained. "Sure thing", I said with a nod, "Let's solve this scary case". Blake suddenly had a worried tone, "Are you sure can solve this after seeing his last night". I sighed, "Yes, I can. Don't worry".

But honestly, I wasn't even sure. "Okay then... Meet in the lobby", He said. "Okay", I said. Once I hung up, I brushed my hair, put on skinny jeans, and a pretty blue ruffle top. I briskly brushed my brush my teeth and grabbed my hotel key. Putting my hair behind my ears, I took a deep breath and told myself that everything will be fine. I should be able to handle this, I should be. I slipped my phone 

and key inside of my pocket. Opening the door, I walked out of my room and walked down the hallway. Once I made to it the elevator, I spotted something glow.

Curiously, I stepped away from the elevator and followed the glowing light. Once I made it to the light, I notice it was a green colored paper that probably had invisible writing on it. I took my cell phone and shined the a flashlight on the paper and squinted my eyes. As I did, I made out the words and read them out loud.

1. To kill Blake 

2. To ruin Paige's life 

3. Kill Paige next 

4. Accuse the principal

I screeched in horror as I read the paper about two times. Someone's is trying to ruin my life?! And who is this LL? Could it be the lunch lady?!?! Who knows???? Tears streamed from my eyes and I pulled out my cell and immediately dialed Blake's number. "Hello", Blake said, "Are you almost there". "B-Blake! Someone's- tears continued to drop my eyes and I felt pain and fright fill up my entire body. "Paige! Forget meeting me here", Blake said worriedly, "I'm coming up".

I wanted to protest and say no but he already hung up. Poor him, he had no idea how much pain and suffering is inside of me. How could this happen???? Who would to do this?! Why me!!!! "Blake", I whispered to myself, "Please help me". On cue, he ran out of the elevator and spotted me in tears. "Paige, come here", Blake said opening his arms. I hugged him tightly and said, "I'm not safe either". "What happened", He asked. I let go of him and show him the letter. "Wow! This is- what the hell!!!", Blake exclaimed.

"Blake, language please", I alerted him. "Sorry, it just scares me", He said wrapping his around me, "Now we definately know that the principal isn't a victim". "But how can it be the lunch lady", I asked him curiously, "This doesn't make any sense". "Go to bed, Paige and I will look for more clues", Blake informed, "God will protect you, I promise". "No! I wanna solve this too", I pleaded, "Blake please!". "No, I care about you too much to let you go into some kind of danger", He exclaimed, "Go!To!Bed!".

Sighing of defeat, I playfully hit his arm and said, "Jerk". He smiled at me and kissed my cheek. "Go", He said in a soothing voice. I blushed as I touched the spot of my cheek were Blake kissed me. Do I love him??? "Ok", I said smiling and walked back to my room with a smile on my face. Gosh, why am I smiling?? Do I love him?? No, no, no! He is just a friend who I happened to care about a lot. With that thought, I sat on the bed and took a deep breath. This was all to overwhelming!

"Paige! Paige!", A bubbly voice exclaimed. I opened my eyes and realized I have been sleeping? Was it just a nightmare?? I look down and noticed that I was wearing the same clothes I have picked out. So it was all real and I might be next! "Paige, it is time to go to breakfast", My roommate Claudia said, "You okay". "Just peachy", I lied. "Oh good because your boyfriend came to check on you but I told him that you were asleep",Claudia informed me. "He is just my best friend", I corrected, "But that was sweet of him". "Do you like him or something", She asked.

"Um, as friends, yes", I replied. As I said this, something was boiling inside of me and I had no idea what it was. "Oh? I think he has a crush on you", She said with a smile. "Yeah but I don't like him that way", I said looking at the ground. "Oh okay and sorry about Kurt. I don't believe that you murdered  

him", She said as she putting a blonde lock behind her ear. I smiled, I'm glad someone finally believes me.

Twenty minutes later, Claudia and I were at the lobby with the other students. "I'm going to eat with my friends", Claudia said smiling, "Bye". I waved bye as she left and spotted Blake in line. I walked up to him and whispered, "Found anything". "Yes, I did", He replied softly, "I will tell you later". I nodded in response and as we stood in line, I spotted Claudia smiling at us and her friends pointing at us and 

giggling. "So are you alright", Blake asked, "Please be honest".

"I'm terrified", I admitted, "Blake, whoever is doing this is just plain evil". Blake touches my shoulder and replies, "I will protect you, don't worry". Tears fell out of my eyes and I muttered, "Please protect me". Blake suddenly embraced me and I smiled as my body warms up and I feel protected. He was just so sweet and after everything that had happened, he is just a great friend.

Someone suddenly tapped our shoulders and I realized that it was Claudia. 

"Hi guys, you guys are cute together", She squealed, "You guys should- "Next!", The woman called. "Thanks Claudia, bye now", Blake said. We both walked to the lady and we ordered our food. Once we were finished, we both sat an empty table together.

"So what did you find", I asked. Blake took a deep breath and said, "I found the lunch lady's prints,Claudia's, and the principals again. I also found Kurt's remains even more threat notes saying they kill me- "Oh no! No, no, no", I exclaimed sadly. Blake quickly grabbed my hand and replied, "It will be okay, I won't let that happen". "But, Claudia?? She is so sweet and why was it me", I groaned sadly.

"I'm sorry", Blake said, "I really am". I smiled and blushed as I realized we were holding hands. "Er, sorry", Blake said and immediately let go.

Once we were back on the bus, we wrote down all the clues and the evidence we found. I wonder why the police couldn't even find this evidence. "This is horrible", I said as I leaned on his shoulder, "Were both in danger". Blake grabs my hand and said to me, "Sorry, about all of this. I promise that we will make it through this". With this thought, I quickly fell asleep.

"Huh? Where am I", I asked. I looked around and noticed that I was all alone and that no one was there. "It is time for you to perish", An evil voice said. I turned and saw Claudia with an evil look on her face and a knife in her hand. "No", Blake exclaimed in tears, "I love her". "I love you too", I exclaimed with tears in my eyes. Claudia then smiles and puts a knife inside of my chest. I moaned in pain and black tears streamed from my eyes. "Nooooooooo!!", Blake shouted angrily, "I should have there for her".

I woke up scared and started screaming and Blake screams too. Oh my gosh! What should I do now?!??!!
