A Brutal Broken Heart: Chapter Nine

As soon as I spoke those words, the cloaked woman was gone and my fear of her was erased. "The next time you come, I'm going to beat up your a- "Who are you talking to", Claudia asked me as soon as she spotted me into the bathroom. I gulped, trying to think of every excuse but my mind went blank. "Uhh, I was,uhh, umm- Claudia laughed, "It's okay, I know exactly what's going on". I gulped and started to twiddle with my thumbs, "You do". She laughed again, "Yes, you're beating yourself down because of Blake. I always knew you loved him and I have great news". I suddenly felt relieve washed down my entired body and I couldn't help to smile, "What?". 

"He's doing well, he actually woke up today. The doctors told the principal that he wants to come to Legoworld to see you", Claudia said with a smile, "How romantic". Without thinking, I embraced Claudia and kissed her on the cheek. "Thank you, thank you, thank you! You are such a  great best friend", I squealed happily. She laughed, "I assume that you're in love with him". I nodded, "I think I am and that's why I really need to talk to him". 

"Well, he's coming soon but right now, let's go have some fun", She chirped happily. "Sure thing", I grinned as we linked arms and ran happily out of the bathroom. Claudia took me with her friends and we spent hours going on rides, getting candy, and having bunch of fun. It was the best fun I've ever had ever since my old friends left me. The only person I was missing was Blake and I was anxious to talk to him. Hopefully, he'll believe that I love him and he'll forgive me. 

"So what ride next", Claudia asked her friends. "Umm, how about- "Girls", The principal suddenly interuppted. We all turned towards him and he smiled at us, "Paige, I have great news for you. Blake's here". "He is!?!", I exclaimed happily, "Where?". The principal laughs and replied to me, "Hold your horses and let me walk you there". I nodded slowly and waved bye to Claudia and her friends. Claudia gives me the thumbs up and I smile at her. 

We walk down the streets of Legoworld and I anxiously follow him to the First Aid. Okay Paige, when I see him, I am going to tell him the truth. I have to tell him that I love him because I cannot hide my feelings any longer. I must tell him this. 

Once we arrived into the building, we go up to the counter and red headed woman with sparkling green eyes smiles at us. "Hello, how may I help you", She asked. I read her name tag and smiled at her eagerly, "Phoebe, I'm here to see Blake". She giggled, "You must be his girlfriend, well he's doing well. In fact, we can come with you guys since he's doing better". I squealed with happiness not even realizing how annoying I was probably being. But who cares, I wanted Blake and I knew he wanted him. He's all that matters right now. 

"Okay, let's bring him", Phoebe said to a nurse from down the hall. The nurse nodded and they both walked down the hall until they were out of sight. "I know you're excited to see him", The principal said, "So I am going to give you guys a moment to catch up". "Thank you", I replied smiling as he departs from the First Aid. As soon as he leaves, the nurse and Phoebe bring out Blake. I smiled as his brown eyes, his beautiful brown hair, and the sparkles in his eyes. Oh how I missed him! "Paige, is that you", He asked. "Yes", I replied with a squeal, "Blake, I missed you". Blake smiled at me and embraced me. I closed my eyes as we hugged each other tightly. 

I never wanted to let go of him and as we continued to embrace, I noticed that the nurse and Phoebe walked out of sight. He lets go and asked, "Did you find any clues while I was out". "Yes", I replied, "There's this cloaked woman and she's after us. She wants you to die next and I think she's the one who murdered Kurt. I'm not afriad of her anymore because of you". He smiled at me and slowly touched the ends of my hair, "What did I do". I laughed, "You were there and you told me not to be afriad and I wasn't". 

"Let's go talk outside", Blake said taking my hand. I hesitated, but I decided to calm down since I knew that he loved me. I was still a bit scared of admitting it even though I kissed him on the cheek begging him to wake up. Taking a deep breath as we walked outside, he smiled at me again and continued to caress my hair. "You know what's funny", Blake said, "I had a dream about this cloaked woman and she told me that she wanted to kill the one that she truly loves. You know what she said next", He paused and I shook my head, "She said that you loved me". 

I nodded as tears dropped from my eyes, "Yes, I love you Blake. Ever since you fainted, I felt that I was missing something that was a part of me and I felt that I had a brutal and a broken heart. I felt alone without you and I just wanted to hug you and to- I stopped myself, what could I say now? I was stuttering and I felt too shy to admit anything. "You wanted to kiss me", Blake said with a beautiful smile, "Is that it". "Y-y-es", I stuttered. "Well, I think I believe you", He said with a chuckle. I laughed with him and before I knew it, it started to rain.

My dark brown hair became curled and I felt myself shiver in the pouring rain. "Are you cold", He asked suddenly. I smiled, "Kind of". Blake suddenly pulls me closer to him and wraps his arms around me. "Better", He asked. "Umm- "Are you okay", He asked suddenly pulling away. Oh for heaven sakes, I couldn't take it anymore. "Shut up and kiss me", I exclaimed. Blake takes off his jacket and puts it around my shoulders, "There, now I will kiss you". He rests his hands on my shoulders and leaned closer to my face until our lips touched. 

As we kissed, I put my arms around his neck and closed my eyes. Blake kisses me back in sync and   twirls me around as he continues to kiss me. His minty breath felt cool against my lips and I smiled eagerly as he puts a lock of my hair behind my ear and kissed me longer. That's when I realized that I loved Blake with all of my heart and I never wanted to let go of him.

Okay, that was a pretty short chapter, but I hoped you enjoy it! I hope you guys are happy that Blake and Paige finally kissed lol :P. But the story's not over yet. Who is the cloaked woman? Who is the murderer and what will happen next? Stay tuned ^_^!
