Part 10: Thats just life...

Y/n POV:

It has been 10 days since I moved into the house. I was recording a video when I get a call. I pause the feed and answer.

Y= You

M= your mom

Y: Hey mom! Whats up?

M: (sobs) Y/n...its Zoe...

Y: What happened to Zoe? MOM?

M: S-she's gone sweety...

Y: WHAT?

M: She passed away y/n...after you left she refused to eat and today...(crys harder)

Y: Omg...this is my fault...(starts crying) Mom I gotta go...

M: Ok sweetheart...I will call later okay?

Y: Yes mom...

I end the call and start crying. A few minutes later someone knocks on my door. The door opens slowly..."Y/n...are you OK?" it was Elijah. I ignore his question and hug my pillow to my chest and sob into it. He walks over to the bed and sits next to me. He pulls me into his chest and hugs me tightly. He rubs my back and lets me cry on his shoulder. After like...10 minutes I stop crying. "Do you want to talk?" he asks. I nod and he lays down and I lay on his chest and he played with my hair which really calmed me down. "So...I was recording and my mom calls me saying that my dog,Zoe had....ahem...passed on..." my eyes refilled with tears that soon leaked down my face...I wipe them away before I continued "She hadn't been eating ever since I moved out which makes it...(sobs). Elijah stops playing with my hair. "It isn't your fault! That's just life...It has ups and downs and its very unexpected and I'm NOT going to sit here and let you think for even a second that this is your fault!" he yells. Then he does something unexpected, he grabs my face and kisses me. Was this real life? Is the love of my life really kissing me right now? Am I really not kissing back? He pulls away and looks really red. "I-i....uhhhh....I'm so sorry...I didn't mean to make things awkward..." He tries to turn but I grab his hand. Its now or never Y/n! "Elijah..I don't know how to say this....can you sit down?" He nods and sits back down. "Elijah...I really hope this doesn't hurt our friendship but..." he cuts me off before I finish "You like me but not in that way. You consider me a brother...its okay I understand" "Don't cut me off! What I was going to say was...I like you Elijah! Like like like you. I always have." He looks shocked for second and then he smiles the biggest smile I have ever seen. He kisses me and this time I kiss back but then...

Elijah POV

Y/n and I shoot apart as Denis opens the door..."Hey man, Whats good?" I ask really nervous. I feel Y/n secretly hold my hand and my confidence returns. "Elijah why are you in my sister's room?" "I was helping Y/n with something" Denis looks at Y/n and she nods "Mom called me and..." Denis cuts her off " Mom just called and told me...are you okay?" She smiles at me "I wasn't at first, but Elijah helped calm me down" Denis nods at me me and hugs Y/n and goes to make lunch. after he leaves I kiss Y/n on the cheek. "Hey!" she says while putting her hand over the spot I kissed. "Sorry...you have no idea how long I wanted to do that" She blushes and looks away. I smirk and lay my head on her lap. She bends down and places and a small kiss on my forehead. Her hair covered both our faces like a curtain as we kissed each other softly. "Hey Y/n! Can I borrow a-" we pull away and stare at Alex. I blush and so does Y/n. "AH! YOU TOLD HIM!" Y/n laughs and nods. "You didn't tell me that you were going to tell him" Alex says a little offended. "I didn't plan it" Y/n giggles. She's so beautiful. "How are you explaining this to Denis?" Y/n and I look at each other and shrugged. "I think we should just tell him rather than lying to his face" I say. Y/n grabs my hand and pulls me downstairs and towards the kitchen...

Y/n POV

My heart was racing as I walk into the kitchen to talk to Denis. "Dingo?" He turns around and I drop Elijah's hand before he sees. "I have to talk to you...It's important" He looks worried and motions for me to sit at the table. "What's up Y/n?" I take a deep breath "ihaveaboyfriend...." "Huh?" I sigh. "Don't get mad but....I have a boyfriend now..." "Who is he? What's his name? Do I know him?" I point to Elijah. "Its him, Elijah Best and Yes" Denis doesn't say anything he gets up from the table and walks over to Elijah. I run in front of Elijah "Denis! You said you wouldn't get angry!" "Move Y/n..." "No." I was confident but Denis was stronger than me and he carried me and placed me behind him and turns back to Elijah. He picks up his hand and I try to grab it but I missed. He puts a hand on Elijah's shoulder "You better treat her right man, that's my little sister and she deserves the best. I'm trusting you" I run and hug Denis "THANK YOU!!!" I run to Elijah and jump into his arms. He spins me around and then places me in front of him and kisses me. Then we hear Denis clearing his throat and we pull apart. I hug Elijah tightly. Just then Sub walks in. "What's going on?" We all laugh. Nobody cares to explain...They don't share things with sub
