Castor

It was extremely difficult to stop looking at her but when I managed to part my eyes from her magnificent face...or her body...or just anything about her, my three brothers sat on the front row were staring at her with their mouths open and drooling...well mostly all my brothers.

I'd never seen a woman more beautiful in my life.

My father was by her side and they were linking arms. Her father-Lord Oriol had been delayed for a reason he couldn't mention and couldn't walk her down the aisle-so my father offered instead.

She was smiling. She was beautiful. She was perfect. Every elegant step she took was making my heart throb. I was in love. So in love.

When my smiling father passed her over to me, he sat with my brothers who were still staring at my amazing bride.

We began our vows. "I, Castor Adraen Diakos take thee, Tiona Oriol as my lawfully wedded wife."

We both couldn't stop smiling. She felt right by my side, almost as if I'd been missing a part of me my entire life and we were finally connected.

"I, Tiona Oriol take thee, Castor Adraen Diakos as my lawfully wedded husband."

Husband. It didn't sound strange. It was meant to be.

The priest then asked the both of us questions like, would you risk your life for the other? And would you protect her before anyone else?

Every question that was asked we both said yes, truthfully and joyfully. The priest finished,

"Knight this woman, kiss this woman, bed this woman and you will be the happiest you've been upon all the Angel's and Lords and Ladies alike. I pronounce you not as two but bounded as one forever and always."

Me and Tiona in synch finished, "Forever and always." Tiona kneeled as I ripped my sword from its resting place by my unbindable belt. I let my gleaming blade touch each of her shoulders for few short seconds. Afterwards she kissed the blade, then I pulled her up like a gentleman and she kissed me tenderly. I couldn't wait to kiss her lips again.

As soon as their lips smashed in to one another, the majority of all people in the room clapped, cheered and the deep bells rang, signifying their ceremony was complete. Their hands gripped together-they were one-they jumped energetically and lively down the aisle where people threw orchid petals into the air.

I felt puny and little. Forgotten. When Castor walzed past me and Leo, he didn't even see us. He was distracted by her. And she was distracted by him.

People followed after they exited the doors into the great hall whispering about the perfect couple. Me and Leo were the last ones in the wedding Chapel and I couldn't stop thinking about how in that moment when they saw each other, my brother was dead.

I raised my drink when our guests had calmed down into the seats in appropriate tables. My families table was in a straight line and at the front of the room meaning all the other tables could see us. From left to right it went: Lili, Leo, Neron, Jaxston, Ekon, father, me, Tiona and an empty space where Tiona's father was supposed to sit. He still hadn't arrived yet.

"Thank you all for attending my wedding. I'd like to make a toast." The guests grabbed their glasses of alcohol ready to drink. "I want to make a toast to living long and happily with the people around us. I hope you all live long." I gestured my glass around the room where people were smiling back at me. "I hope my family live long." I turned my head to my family.
