Projection [ an Overhaul fanfic ]

"Well, it's time you learn little one.."

Those words echoed  around Emiko's brain. She was scared of him, so why was she obeying everything he was telling her?

With her head hung low, she took a deep breath, before squeaking out a small, "Why?". This took Overhaul and Chronostasis by surprise.

"Why are you doing this? And why me..?"

"Well, we heard some interesting things from someone...and we wanted to see if what they said were true, and by the looks of it, they were right."

Overhaul now stood a solid 3 feet away from her. His head angled high, like he wanted her to obey him like a servant to their king. All his muffled words, along with Kurono's danced along Emiko's head like tiny dancers in a show.

It was true her quirk was sight based, and she so badly wanted to use it on them, but she knew she wouldn't win. Especially since she was scared.

"And don't try to use it on us. We know what to expect, and if you as so desire to do anything, I will punish you. Am I clear?"

Chisaki gripped his tie, and fixed it in place, as grabbed his coat and put it back on. He signaled for her to follow him. When she stood her ground, and refused to move, a harsh shove was made from Kurono, which nearly sent her tumbling to the ground.

"Now...I have a proposition for you, dear..."
