Projection [ an Overhaul fanfic ]

"Pathetic."
Overhaul's eyes narrowed down at the girl below him. Fists forming by his side, breathing becoming erratic.

"I advise you never do that again, Emiko."
He grits his teeth behind his mask, putting a strong emphasis on her name, making sure she hears him loud and clear.

"Y-Yes...sir."
She obeys him, being careful with her words. He harshly walks past her, making note to not touch her, making Chronostasis shove her towards the door, Overhaul has left them at.

"Get in there. Boss wants you to change your clothes. Says they're 'Filthy'."

Emiko notes that this one wasn't as harsh sounding as the so-called "leader". Once she nodded at the male, she shakily reached for the doorknob, making sure not to make so much noise. When she opened the door, she could see that it was a room, painted to look like a little girls.

'W-who else is here??'
She thought to herself, heart beating so hard. Chronostasis shoved her into the room quickly, then closed the door. Emiko sighed out, feeling at ease that neither of them are down her throat. Her thoughts ceased when she heard a small squeak come from the bed.

"W-who are you??"

Emiko looked at the small figure in the bed, taking note that this figure was well shaken, had bandages on their arms. She also saw that it was a little girl. Silver hair glistened in the dimly lit room, a small horn reflecting off the light, and round reddish eyes staring at her.

"A-are you here to hurt me??"
