Possession

Batman dodged as Joker pulled the trigger. The speedster clan ran around, knocking villains down and causing chaos. A small group including Superboy, Robin, and Miss Martian, snuck off, intent on finding Nightwing in the maze of hallways. The rest of the heroes started fighting, beating the people responsible for kidnapping Nightwing.

Lagoon Boy and Wonder Girl teamed up against Scarecrow. Both had rebreathers on, in case Scarecrow tried his fear gas. Ivy was facing BumbleBee and Guardian. The speedsters were everywhere, but were focusing on Bane. And, of course, Batman was fighting Joker. Artemis was helping him.

Bane pumped his veins full of venom, trying to see if bulk would offset the three speed demons. Nope. Impulse pulled out his venom tube, and Wally, as well as Barry, vibrated their hands fast enough to create bolts of lightning. They both shoved Bane at the same time, double the electricity hitting him. He collapsed to the floor, twitching a little. The speedsters split, each focusing on a different Villain.

Joker had pulled out a chunk of kryptonite, causing the blue boy scout to collapse as well. Wally rammed into the crazed clown before grabbing the small chunk. He ran out of the warehouse, running past two cities before he grabbed a small box and placed the rock in it. He his the box under a bush, planning to come back to it.

Bart darted in every now and then, distracting Poison Ivy so the other two could get a hit on her. She kept trying to hit them with vines, but another hero would always distract her again. Eventually, she was  knocked out.

Scarecrow had been losing from the beginning. Without his fear gas, he wasn't as strong as he could be. With the Flash added, he was defeated quickly.

Joker, however many people he had fighting, simply refused to go down. He took blow after blow, giving a few of his own as well, but never stayed down. He would keep falling, and getting up. Falling, and getting up. It was really starting to annoy Wally.

Joker looked around and seemed confused about something. "Now, I wonder where she went?" "Who are you talking about, Joker?" Batman demanded. Joker laughed. "Why, Catwoman, of course! She's supposed to be here." "Oh, I'm still here." A voice came from the corner.

Everyone turned to see Catwoman with her whip in hand. "I never left." Half of the small group of heroes went after her, while the other half went back to Joker.

The first thing Bart did was snatch the whip from her. "This is interesting. What does this button do?" He asked, pressing it. The end lit up with electricity. "Oh, that's what it does!" He joked. She leapt at him, but he ran out of the way. "Better luck next time!"

As for the team fighting Joker, the battle was going better than it had. At Catwoman's appearance, the Joker had gotten cocky, and his moved were slipping, with him often overshooting himself. They lured him to a wall with lots of pipes poking out, and waited for it.

He overshot again, and slammed into the wall. Using a pair that Batman had handed him, Flash quickly cuffed the crazed clown. They turned their attention to the other fight, only to see it end. Catwoman dropped to the ground, Bart having rammed into her. Batman walked over and cuffed her as well.

The heroes looked around. Many of the villains were unconscious, and two were handcuffed. They heard running, and thought it was more villains at first. It ended up being the small rescue team. And in Superboy's arms was an unmoving Nightwing.

Wally wanted to sob when he saw his best friend. Cuts covered his body. His ribs didn't look too good, and even unconscious, his face was pained. They all ran over to the small group. "His injuries are too much. If we don't get him to a med-bay now, he's going to die." Robin informed the small group.

"I'll take him." Everyone stared at Wally. "I can take him. I'll be able to get him there in almost no time, and Leslie or Agent A can help him." Batman nodded. "Do it." Conner transitioned the injured bird into Wally's arms. Wally ran off, hoping he wasn't too late.
