Berrypaw couldn't sleep, so he eventually decided to go outside. He had just been apprenticed, and the apprentice den would need some getting used to. After walking for quite a while, Berrypaw came across a scent like no other. It was sour, yet sweet- so he decided to explore it. He eventually heard a yowling in the distance- and that was when it all started, their talks. Every half-moon, Breezepelt and Berrynose would make it to the meeting place to share their issues and all the weights on their backs.
As this continued, they eventually developed feelings for each other. This is when our story takes place.
