Silence is deadly

The nights are the worst

Why?

Cause that's when it is silent and all you hear is the ticking of the clock on the wall

The worse noise to hear cause you know that 12am will soon be here

Then it turns to 3am and you start to panic

It's no longer silent

Now the demons are talking

They're awake and so are you

And they're telling you to stay quiet but you want to cry

Now they are telling you to stop and stay feeling like a worthless piece of shit

"You're worthless"

"You are a mistake"

"No one wants you"

"No one is ever going to love you"

They don't seem to be silent

Instead they grow louder by the minute

Instead they tell you to run from here

Far from here

The tell you that the world only going to hurt you

They tell you that silence is deadly cause that's when they can talk to you without having to worry about being shut out

Your phone is across the room on your desk

So you can't call a friend for help

You need someone to talk to and to help you through this night

But the demons are winning

You grab the bottle of pills sitting next to your bed on the nightstand

The ones that the doctor tells you will make you "normal"

And as you poor them all into your hand you look at the stars one last time

You whisper

"I'll be there soon, just another star in the sky"

As soon as you put the pills to your lips

Your bedroom door is swung open

And you see the one person you needed at the moment

Your bestfriend who told you later that night that they had a bad feeling and rushed straight there

They tell you they love you and wouldn't be able to bare the world without you by their side

So you agree to get help at a hospital and stay there for a while, while they put you on more medication

When you get out your friend is there to take you home

And from then on you told them that you won't ever try something like that again

And as you say those words the demons seem to go away for a while

The angels took over and surrounded you so the demons can no longer hurt you

So now you know for sure
