I sniffled as I curled up tightly to encase my warmth, I could feel the chill biting at my toes while I tried to shield myself away from the cold but the bundle of grass and dirt just wasn't helping anymore. It was once warm from the sun but now everything was cold from the chilled night, I had to get a move on and find better protection or I would lose my fingers and toes by the morning. It was past midnight and it was a crescent moon in the middle of the starry sky, I couldn't help but pause to admire it's cratered beauty. However, it was important that I found warmth because the youngling inside of me needed protection and warmth at all cost, and I was giving it neither one. I was only a scrawny creature and while I was supposed to be the most feared creature known to mankind, I was the exact opposite of scary and gigantic with sharp teeth. I was completely useless to my previous homophobic pack and my childrearing abilities were useless from the amount of available women in the area.

It seemed like parenting was failing as the centuries came and went, considering my parents had threw me into the night cold without any food and just the clothes on my back, guess I should be thankful. Family was supposed to be everything to werewolves, but my family had proved that as a myth and that was why I was in the middle of unknown territory in the dead of the night. I pulled myself up with a little bit of struggle before progressing onward, I had to find warmth soon or I was going to freeze to death. I yawned as I stumbled forward and leaned against a tree, I was pitiful, completely useless to anyone that found me because all I could do was produce offspring. I could not hunt to save my life, and I sure as hell couldn't kill anyone if my life was on the line, completely useless.

I slid to my butt at the bottom of the tree trunk and released another yawn, it was longer than the previous one and I leaned my head back against the tree as I felt the breeze swift through my long hair. The dirt on my face made me feel so disgusting and it was only day three in this unknown wilderness, scrawny rabbits were the only thing dumb enough to let me get close, so those were tiny meals. At first I was enjoying the chill but my lips were growing numb, I sighed as my heart clenched in sadness because I had no choice what happened to me or this child if things turned for the worst.  I did what I had done and that was the end of it, I didn't want to be reminded of my flaws because I knew I'd only hurt me more than it should, I was a disappointment.

"Lost, omega?" A hoarse voice asked.

I lurched to my feet in alert as I stared at the person with their arms crossed in front of them, it was a burly man standing around six-three compared to my much smaller five foot body. He had to be no older than thirty with an olive complexion, his muscles bulged at his simplest movements like uncrossing his arms and positioning his hands on his hips curiously. His eyes were a crystal blue with bangs of jet black falling in their vision momentarily before he pushed them out of his way. His eyes squinted at me as he sniffed the air once before he took a step closer to me and sniffed the air once more curiously while I glanced him over quickly. His entire body was mostly blemish-free except for the gruesome bite on the side of his stomach, as if someone tried to attack him. I gulped as he cocked his head at me suddenly, and I realized I hadn't answered the mysterious Alpha.

"N-No, Sir." I whispered, backing away slowly.

"You're a terrible liar, little one." He replied, crossing his arms over his chest again.

"W-Well... I am but... I think I can get back home. I'm sorry, Sir." I whispered very quietly, hoping he would only hear the first part of my sentence.

"You smell familiar, it made me stop and scent you out." The man spoke, making me cut him a confused look before dropping my eyes to the ground. "You know what I speak of, young one. You weren't born yesterday."
