Short Story
The spaghetti slurps into the Davina's mouth. She loves being here. With Timothée, alone. Away from everything and everyone. He took such good care of her. He never hurt her and he always called her bubble. It made her stomach flutter. How did she get so lucky? Even though they can bicker a lot they always find ways back to one another. They've almost been together for 3 months now. The best 3 months Davina could possibly ask for.
" So, I know this was just supposed to only be fun and simple. We haven't really talked about truly becoming official. But Davina Taylor-Jacobs would you be my girlfriend?" Timothée grabbed hold of her hand. Davina had no words. She didn't even know what to say. She simply smiled and kissed his soft lips. " I take it that's a yes?" Timothée confirmed. He scooped her up in his arms.
By the counter her phone was going off. Lucky 🍀 it said. It had rung 5 times and by the fifth call he left a voicemail. It wasn't until later that night that she heard it.
