Your POV

I was with Sakura the next day, looking at the flowers with her. They were yellow ones too, and they reminded me of Genos.

I picked one out and thought about last night. Was it true? Did he mean it? That he...likes me? He just ran away after he admitted it.

I then frowned at the flower. Maybe it was some dumb dare by Naruto or the others. Gosh, why do I doubt myself about this stuff??

"Ne, how did it go?" Sakura comes out of the blue.

"Huh?" I turn to her.

"Genos," she smirks, "did you all kiss or something?"

I chuckle and shake my head. "Nah."

Her face suspiciously pulls back a little to show how confused she is. "Huh? Really? Then what did he talk about?"

"What do you mean?" I silently test her. "Was he supposed to talk to me about a certain topic?"

"Yeah! He was supposed to tell you he likes you and kisses you!" She exclaims all mad, and I flinch. "That's what I told him to do!"

I then cross my arms. "What?"

"Oh..." she realizes and nervously laughs. "Yeah, I kinda tried helping him confess to you, because I knew he liked you."

"And then kiss me?" I raise an eyebrow, though the thought of it made me feel a warm fuzzy inside. "I don't think that's how it works."

"Uh, yes, according to romance novels and movies, it's highly a chance for that to happen." She says confidently.

"Well, not in this story, sweetie," I smirk.

"Anyway," she frowns, me popping her confidence bubble, "so, what did he tell you?"

"You're not really gonna believe it, but..."Told me he has a crush on me," I smile at the ground.

"Uh-huh! Yeah?" Her eyes sparkle.

"Said he liked me..." I set the flower down.

"Yeah?!"

"A lot."

"Yeah and???"

I looked at her, my smile breaking as if about to laugh. "Bowed and left."

"Aww, that's so cute--OH NANI?!" Her satisfied look immediately sprung to disappointment.

"But it was cute," I laugh, reimagining his face again. "He was really shy about it. Cute blushy cheeks."

"Wait, you're telling me...he just walked away?" She asks, and I nodded.

"I didn't even have a chance to say anything back, so I kinda don't know what to do now," I scratched the back of my neck.

Just then, Sasuke, Naruto, Genos, and Sensei walked by. Telling my Naruto's hand movements, it was a guess they were showing Genos and Sensei around. I waved at Sensei, and he waved back.

Genos took a glance at me, and I smiled. He blinked before smiling back, blushing again. He nodded before leaving with the rest.

Sakura immediately grabbed my arm and shook me violent. "AWWWWWW!"

I just laugh, telling her to quit it. When I looked ahead to see Genos, I noticed Sasuke looked back.

What's up with him?

"I know!" Sakura bounces, "let's go get something to eat."

"Sure," I nod.

When we got to a ramen booth, we took our seats and ordered. Sakura went on about the topic for her love for Sasuke as usual. I didn't know what to tell her, so I just laughed along and didn't give advice.

I pulled a glass of water up to my lips as my eyes naturally look off for a second, but instead spot the guys still showing my friends around.

I put the glass down. "Speaking of Sasuke, they're coming toward this direction." I inform.

Her eyes shot wide and she flinched. "What?! Where?! Do I look pretty?! Is there anything on my face?!!"

"You're fine, Sakura," I roll my eyes with a smile.

"Hey girls," Naruto greeted as they stop. My first eye contact was at Genos who grinned shyly at me, and I smiled back, feeling warm inside as my stomach fluttered. From the corner of my eye though, I felt Sasuke's gaze staring deeply in the side of my head; it lowkey burned.

I turn, but all he does is look away as if caught showing annoyance. "Ne, Sasuke, h-how are you?" Sakura smiles.

"We should keep showing Genos and Saitama around," Sasuke said instead, totally ignoring Sakura's question. 

"Huh? We're not gonna take a break and eat?" Naruto asked, disappointedly. 

"I could eat," Sensei says.

"Aw, yeah, surely you can stay, can't you Sasuke?" Sakura agrees.

"We're almost done," Sasuke says, "we can get something after."

"Fine," Naruto groans, "bye, [Y/N]." Naruto winks at me before striding away like his childish silly ways when we were little.

We wave at the boys as they walk off, Genos looking back to smile at me once more. My cheeks blushed, and once they were gone, I turn back to Sakura, and we both squealed like gossip girls. "Did you see that?" I ask. 

"Genos smiling at you? His eyes on you the whole time? Yeah! Cuteeeee! You both would be such a cute couple." Sakura boast.

"You think so?" I lean on the palm of my hand, daydreaming. 

"Uh-huh! So, when are you going to confess to him?" She asks.

"Oh," I stop to think about it, "soon. I have a plan."

"Ah, nice, nice," she nodded crazily, before joining me to lean on the palm of her hand. "Ack! But Sasuke though," she sighs day dreamily, "did you see how his shirt collar pops up now? He's a real man now, and I've completely fallen too damn hard to stop now."

"Ne, Sakura, can I ask you a question?"

"About?"

"Does he still...ignore you?"

"Huh?" She removed her hands to embarrassingly, bringing her arms down and frowned at the table. "Sometimes. But I think I'm getting there eventually."

"Tch, that guy," I shake my head disapprovingly, "you shouldn't waste your time chasing after boys who don't give a fuck about you."

"I know!" She cries, throwing her hands in the air, "but I love him."

I laugh, shaking my head. "Then, I guess we'll have to make him love you back."

"Nani?" 

I nodded. "I'll help you out."

"What? Why? How come?"

"Because you helped Genos try to confess to me," I smile.

"Aw! THANK YOU! YOU'RE REALLY THE BEST, [Y/N]!"
