[H/c]: your hair color
My eyes opened, and I was staring at the living room ceiling. I knew because there was more light from the windows.
I had fallen asleep on the couch, as I guess Sensei gave me blankets so he wouldn't have to move me.
"Just rest," I remembered him saying.
But why? Why did that happen again? This wasn't supposed to happen...why suddenly now? I've controlled it since I was 16, now 18 years of age.
But it doesn't matter. As long as I stop thinking about it, the chances I won't go crazy everyday again.
She's not out there to get you (yet). She's not here (yet). You're okay (for now).
No, no, no, chill it, [Y/N]. You're good where you are, seriously. Calm down. Yeah, just take it easy.
After a long time of not blinking, I then leaned on my right side, where the first thing I saw was Genos kneeling by the table, hands on his thighs as if he was waiting for something.
He noticed when I shifted and looked at me. He seemed too serious and still right now like if he was a soldier who just took orders from the general.
"Good morning, Genos..." I greet awkwardly since he's already made eye contact with me.
I don't even care about how I look like right now; I'm just hoping I don't look like shit.
"Hai," he faces his body so he can bow forward. "Are you feeling better?" He asks, lifting back up.
How do I even answer that? I barely know how I feel right now.
As I sit up crisscrossed while rubbing my eyes, the blanket slowly falls from my shoulders.
"Hai," I just say, trying to hide how dead I feel right now. I then looked around. "Where's Sensei?"
"He went out to search for crime due to his Class C activity again," he answers, "he instructed me to watch over you while he is gone.
"And you can train me some other day. Master says he doesn't want you to do anything that will cause stress."
"Well...." I think carefully, hoping I won't regret this, "you know what, Genos are you free today?"
"Hai, just watching you," he replies.
"From now on, it's going to be a good day," I raise my index finger suddenly feeling active. "Would you like to work with me at the café?"
He blinked. "But Master said to not let you go to work."
"Nah," I wave carelessly, "Saitama doesn't know I'm feeling better."
"I'm fine, really," I say, actually meaning it.
"Uh, are you sure?"
As long as I don't stress over it again, yeah.
"Yeah!" I clench my fists with positive energy.
"Well, sure, let's go!" He smiles.
"We don't have a lot of time before it opens, so we should take my bike," I insist, quickly staggering off the couch toward my room to change.
"Uh, be careful!" He worries, raising his hands in front of him.
Workers' POV
"Okay, crew!" Shin determinedly throws his hands on his hips as he was in a great mood today.
