The Search Starts

NOTE : For now, Shrushti will be called Ganga to avoid confusion.

For the next few hours, Ganga hadn't come out of the room. Only at meals, she came out. It was dinner time. Ganga was forced out of her room by Anika to the dining room. Tej was nowhere to be seen. Omkara couldn't care less about where the man was. He looked up from his phone to see Ganga walking down with Anika. Anika was chatting away with her regarding something and Ganga was listening intently. They sat down for dinner. Shivaay was looking at his wife.

Shivaay : You both look to be talking something really interesting. Care to share ?

Anika : I was thinking about renovating Ansh and Shivi's room. I was talking to Ganga about that. I showed her their room.

Shivaay : Don't tell me you are going to decorate it with movie posters.

Anika : Oh please haan. I have better taste than you. And I wasn't going overdo it with any movie posters. I was thinking about renovating it with something new. Ganga gave an amazing idea.

Ganga : It was nothing. Anyone would have suggested it.

Shivaay : What is it ?

Anika : Since Ansh and Shivika are entering into their third year, Ganga gave an idea of renovating it with alphabets and numbers and adding few books with rhymes and stories so that they can start learning from now.

Shivaay : That's a wonderful idea Ganga !!!!

Ganga : Its nothing Shivaay. Its just a simple idea.

Anika : No its not. We couldn't get that idea. You did. Its wonderful.

Ganga bowed down her head and blushed a little. Omkara noticed it. Dinner was quiet. After dinner, Omkara settled with Ansh and Shivika in their room.

Omkara : Ok kiddos !!! We are going to play a game.

Ansh : Game ??

Omkara : Yes Ansh. Game.. We are going to play "Find The Treasure"

Shivika : Wow. I want to play.

Ansh : Me too.

Omkara : Ok. Here it is. We are going to the room where your 'G' Aunty stays. We are to find something there.

Ansh : What is it ??

Omkara : It is a blue color file. And I want you both to see if Ganga is there or not. We need to keep her away.

Shivika : Why Chachu ?

Omkara : Because your 'G' Aunty is playing the thief in this game. And a thief should not know about the treasure. And you both are my trusted officers.. That's why

Ansh and Shivika : Okay !!!

The three walked slowly towards Ganga's room. The sound of water reached their ears. Omkara let out a relieved breath. She was in the washroom. He slowly whispered.

Omkara : Ok Officers... Now I want you to stand here and cover me. Let me know if someone is coming this way.

The kids nodded enthusiastically. Omkara went to the bed and checked under the pillow where she had kept the folder last time. It was not there. He tried the drawer table beside the bed. It was there in the second drawer. He picked it up and walked out stealthily.

Omkara : Ok Agents !!! We have our treasure.

Shivika : What is it, Chachu ?

Omkara : This is your
'G' Aunty's folder. It has few papers. Let's go.
