The group stared down at her. Their eyes bored holes into her skin. "Take it easy Terra," Melaya hushidly whispered from behind her, "She's fine. Jordan's not going to die from a few bullet wounds."

"But what if everything's not fine? What if that phsyco comes in here to get the job done?" Their argument slowly went from Japaneese to English. Mirio whispered in (Y/N)'s ear, "Do you understand what they're saying?" She nodded. She felt sick. She wanted to leave. (Y/N) was on the verge of vomiting whatever acid was in her stomach. Though the pain ebbed away after a few moments. She should've known something was off about Daniel. No. She KNEW something was wrong. She swallowed the sinking feeling and put on a straight face, trying to forget.

"Guys, I don't think it's wise to have an argument in a hospital." A voice behind them scared them all out of their angered trance. Jordan was staring directly at them with a disappointed look on her face. Her apprentices had a look of fear and panic as they turned around and saw her. "You should know better," she mumbled, "A short meeting will be held in my room, where it's partially out of the public eye. I would like a full report on what you saw... and what you've done." All of their eyes went to the floor. Jordan motioned for them, and they stepped forward to her room. Mirio stepped in, "Jordan, they were only trying to help-" "I know they were, but what if they had gotten themselves killed!? What if that- that PHYSCOPATH was out for their blood, and I wasn't there!? What if it's my fault that they're in this mess? What'll happen then...?" She cut him off and ranted. She breathed in deeply, "Just... slow your roll for a little bit Tin Tin. I'll give them a chance to explain, but I'm tough on them for big reasons, and one of those reasons is to not go risking their lives when they know I can handle a situation myself." She ran a hand through her hair and turned into her room, closing the door.

It was moments of silence before (Y/N) started quietly giggling to herself. "What's so funny?" Mirio asked. "She-" (Y/N) snorted, "She called you Tin Tin!" Mirio was still confused, "Yeah," he shrugged, "she's always called me that." (Y/N) paused, "Do you not know who Tin Tin is?" Mirio shook his head. "I've failed as a girlfriend already," she whined. Mirio became frantic as her shoulders slumped, and her sadness deepend. "Wait! What if I do know who he is, I just don't remember!" He tried cheering her up. (Y/N)'s eyebrows peeked, "I guess," she muttered, "That could be logically possible." Mirio sighed in relief, "Ready to head home?" He asked her. "I always am," (Y/N) smiled sweetly. She took one last look at Yamada, who was still sound asleep in the chair, and back at the loving blonde. Mirio wrapped his arm around her shoulder and walked with her to the door, he couldn't help be feel that there were eyes watching their every move. He brushed away the thought and continued out the door. The rain had stopped, and very few cars passed.

(Y/N) shivered. Mirio noticed this, and tucked her in closer to him. She smiled in content, and looked up at him. He had a satisfied look, and she laughed under her breath at how adorable he was.

"You're adorable, you know that?" She said and stepped in a small puddle that wasn't large enough to thoroughly soak her shoe. "I personally couldn't tell," he laughed, "But, since it's coming from you, I believe it." He winked at her and unlocked the car door as they came upon it. "You know what I just realized?" She asked him from the other side of the car. "What would that be?" He asked. "We haven't eaten yet."

"Huh," he realized, "Oh! I can finally take you to my favorite ramen spot!" (Y/N) blushed and nodded. They both silently slipped into their places in the car, and drove through the streets once more. (Y/N)'s mind started to drift to the hospital again. She gazed out her window, wishing that she hadn't met Daniel in the first place. What if this was her fault...?

Tears pricked at the corners of her eyes, but she quickly swiped them away before Mirio could see. He glanced over at her, "You're strangely quiet," he softly spoke, "If you want to talk about it, that would be okay." (Y/N) looked down in her embarrassment; he really was truly trying to help her. "He..." She sighed, "He used to work with me... Daniel did. We had known each other since I lived in America, and we were supposed to go our separate ways when I moved to Japan, but it wasn't even a few months till we bumped into each other at the restaurant. I know I should have said something... He was supposed to be working in America still." Mirio gripped the steering wheel. He knew what Daniel was doing, but he would be sick saying it out loud. He quickly changed the subject again, "Hopefully the ramen shop is still open at this hour!" He chuckled and kept his gaze steady on the road in front of him.
