His Mischievous Mate

Chapter 31 ( The Proposal )

Cley's Pov:

It's been a week since I've accidentally said to Berlyn that I already find my mate. It happened that night while we are lying on my bed on that cabin after we runaway from the cops on DVU gymnasium.

The moment she said that she didn't do it, I mean she didn't attack those varsity player on the gym, I believe her right away. I've conducted investigation and also check out the CCTV footage during that time and I find out that it's Abby's friend who attack them.

I've already confronted Abby about that and she don't have a choice but to admit it. That she's only doing that coz she want to annoy Berlyn. I'm so furious that time. How dare her do that things so naturally without even thinking about the consequences of her action?

I've already told about it to Vladimir and he said that their going back to New York after my birthday party next week. Of course he's going to take Abby with him.

I don't want her to do stupid pranks again towards Berlyn. I don't know if Abby agreed to Vladimir's decision, but I think she don't have a choice coz Vladimir was still her older brother after all. Since then, Abby didn't do anything against Berlyn and I'm glad about it.

That night, I can't think properly knowing that she's just an inch beside me. My heart was beating so fast and I'm just controlling myself not to make a move coz if I listen to my inner wolf, I'm sure I already marked her that time.

I don't want to rushed things between us. I want our bond to be smooth sailing and perfect. I want to make her feel extra special coz she's really important to me. I love her, that's for sure. That's what I find out the first time I saw her.

So, I'll take all the courage to control myself that night. Until I've accidentally told her that I already find my mate. I didn't intend to tell her that. It just slipped into my mouth and I've got nervous when she started to asked about my mate.

God knows how I really love her. But I'm scared to death to tell her how much I love her. I don't know how to express myself. I'm not used to it.

That's why the moment she started to asked about my mate, I made up a story. I answered her every questions but I make sure that she didn't get any hint or clue that she's the one I've been referring to. 

I want my confession to be extra ordinary and unforgettable on her part. I want to surprised her when the right time came. I already have this perfect plan and perfect timing for that.

Next week is my 23rd birthday. That day, dad will gonna announce his retirement and I'm the one whose going to taked over as the alpha of Del Valle Pack. I know it's a very huge responsibility, but I'm already prepared for that.

I know that Berlyn was going to be by my side once I confessed to her. And I'm sure, everything will be alright. With her around, I'm sure I can ruled our pack very well. I also want to take the opportunity that day to confessed  what I really felt for her.

Just thinking about the possibilities that she's going to be my Luna and were going to live in the pack house together makes me feel excited. I'm sure she's going to be surprised.

And that's what I want. I sound like a cheesy and hopeless romantic here, but I don't care. I just love her so much that's why I'm doing this for her. And I'm sure she will do the same way if she's in my current situation.

"Cley, where are you?" Andrei asked me through links.

"I'm on my way to Berlyn's place. Why?" I replied through link.

"You need to be here in the pack house. We have a major problem here." Andrei said again.
