"Talk" Yoongi demanded and looked at the unknown woman through the mirror while driving the car.

"I'm Song Yushin. I work as a manager to Jimin's stepmom" the woman started while looking at Jimin's face. Then she slightly touched Jimin's jaw which was bruised badly.

"I'll tell you how I've got to know Jimin's family and what happened for him to be injured this bad" she stated.

"You better" again Yoongi's bitter voice.

"I was born in a rural village in Busan. My mother and father died in an accident when I was 3. I have no memory of what they even looked like. Then the only family I had was my grandmother who was really old. But she took care of me. She raised me. She did various jobs to raise me and even though we were so poor, she sent me to school too. One day I was returning home after my school. There were so many people in our house, gathered and chatting. Most of the Aunties were giving me sympathetic looks while I walk into the house. She was dead. The only family I had left me without even telling me goodbye. That day I thought that I was born ill-fated. The villagers were so eager to bully me saying that I killed my family. They called me a witch. A witch who brings misfortune to whatever I  touch." Yushin stopped talking to release a deep sigh. An unreadable expression on her face.

"Then what happened?" Jay responded. His voice sounded impatient.

"I thought you knew whatever the lie she's telling us before letting her into the car Seok!" Yoongi snapped again. His tired eyes were replaced with his usual dark gaze. He had this thing in his gaze which was murderous yet strangely calming.

"I know who she is Hyung! Not her life story" Jay snapped back.

"I hear you..." Yushin replied slowly. That voice made the two men go silent. They didn't trust her but something in her story or the way she cared for Jimin made them want to listen further into the story. Maybe it wasn't her. Maybe it was their gut telling them she meant no harm. However, they both waited till she started again.

"I was sent to an orphanage in Busan. I spent the worst two years of my life there. The food was trash, the owner was a nasty old man, and his wife who took care of us made us do all the household work. We had to wash clothes, clean the house and take care of the kids younger than us and if someone breaks something, skipped their schedule, or break a rule, they had to spend the rest of the day in a dark room. They convinced us that's how they teach us discipline. Nothing in that place was good except for the old lady who used to come and visit us. She came once a month. On the day she comes, we are free from any sort of work and we get decent meals and even kind words from our caretakers."

Yushin released a deep sigh she's been holding. Her expression almost looked serene.

"Mmrrh..." suddenly a pained whimper came out of Jimin's mouth, still eyes closed. His face was covered in sweat.

"Jiminie... Shin is here...Please hold on Chim Chim" Yushin sounded like a mother who consoles her crying child.  Yoongi and Jay noticed how concerned she sounded and how she managed a calm face.

"Noo..na.... 's hur.." with that Jimin fainted.

"Chimmy! Chim! Please wake up!!!" A tear rolled down her cheek. Then two. She was holding Jimin as if her life depended on him when it was the other way around.

"Please, sir! Hurry up! Please I'll give you whatever you want. I'm begging" at that point Yushin's cold, calming persona was long gone and instead, a sobbing woman was there holding Jimin desperately.

"We're close.Seok, call Jieun again.Tell her to be ready and we have a severely injured patient." Yoongi looked a bit shaken by the sudden change of situation but he kept driving as fast as he can. He is not going to make the same mistake twice. He has to rescue Jimin. Not only for Jimin but for himself as well.
