Chapter 5

Eric's(fireman) Pov

   Emily sent me a message saying she has landed in New York and she is on her way for an interview.

    I and the gang just landed in NY and we are at the airport, we are about to go our separate ways then we all go to school tomorrow. "So since everything has been settled we can all leave now, right?" I asked them "yeah" they all answered me "we all are to meet at the mansion, I will send the address to you all then we walk down to school together,she also asked me to inform you not to worry about schedule since her uncle is the principal there he will make sure to get us all the same schedule with Jaden" I Informed them, we concluded everything,we said our goodbyes and we all left the airport.

Emily's Pov

    As I driving, I remembered that I haven't called the gang to inform them of my arrival and know of their whereabout,so I stopped my motorcycle and brought out my phone. I texted Erick of my arrival, the interview and about our resumption to school tomorrow. After this I started my motorcycle and continued on my journey to the hotel.
    
      I was escorted to the conference room immediately I got to the hotel, on getting to the conference room I met my parent, dad's PA, a young lady and a handsome guy who am sure are the reporters. "Thanks for joining us miss Luciano we've been expecting you" the lady said "can we start now then" I replied her "yes we can".

    So that was how we started the interview with them asking about my career(fighting & racing), moving to NY, my new school  in which my mum couldn't just keep her mouth shut but to tell them to tell them to the name, my relationship status because everyone knows me as someone who is ready to be committed to some stupid relationship, the only thing I want was getting laid and no string attached. So that was how the interview went but I have to make sure the nerd status keep going for like 2weeks in other for us to get to know everything going on within the school and outside.
    
    I left my parent at the hotel after the interview to go the mall for some items I will need, I mean the big nerdy glass, baggy hoods, curly brown wig, baggy jeans/leggings, big tops and some cheap sandals and sneakers. I called dad to send one of the drivers to come get the bags since I rode my motorcycle to the mall and there is no way I can carry those shopping bags with me on the motorcycle.
    
     As I got home I heard my parent arguing and dad mentioning my name but immediately they both sighted me they kept quiet so I decided to ask them what the problem was. "Oh! You are back" dad said "yeah so what was the argument all about this time because I heard you guys mentioning my name in your conversation" I asked them "nothing dear em.........em it's just that your mum is talking about your mode of dressing again" he said.

    I knew he was lying but am sure I will get to know the truth sooner or later so I won't push them into telling me the truth. "dear about this your relationship talks and everything about you on the media, don't you think it's time for you to get into a serious relationship" mum said to me, now I know what their argument was all about "Silvia leave her alone when the time is right she will get into a relationship" dad told mum "but I do go out with some guys and mum am not ready for some stupid commitment to a guy now" I told her "those guys are just there for fun, I know you only have sex with them and dump them, grow up girl" she said to me.

    "It's not my fault guys keep coming to me most especially when am at club and you know mum when am drunk I don't really think straight, the only thing that can help me is getting laid" I yelled at her "Emily not again, have told you to stop drinking and having sex with some random guys, the press are always getting pictures of you at the club with your fuck buddies" dad informed me.

     "She needs to grow up David and by doing that you need to start letting her know what is right and what is wrong" she said to dad "that is why we told her to keep it low here in NY" dad reminded her "I know but I don't trust Emily and I don't like it when people keep criticizing our way of bringing our daughter up, imagine the way the Pierce were looking at us when we inform that that Emily was not joining us for dinner" mum said.

    Well you see the Pierce are the second most successful business tycoon since we are  at the top and they are below us my parent and the Pierce get along very well. The Pierce only has a son and the only child at that but you see I and Ryder have never met and I heard he is also attending waterside highschool.

     "Yeah I forgot to ask how was your dinner at the Pierce's place" I asked them trying to call off our discussion "it was great and they were disappointed for not meeting you, most especially Lucas he want you to meet their son Ryder" mum answered smiling, I hope it's not what am thinking she had better not start matchmaking because it won't work.

    "Okay am off to bed now" I informed them "won't you have anything to eat" dad asked me "I will inform Cecilia to bring my dinner to my room" I told him, I waved them goodnight, they replied back and i went up to my room.
