I woke up in my human form gasping for air as I tried to recap what just happen. Sweat ran down my face as I felt a sharp pain in my stomach. I searched my body under a thin blanket looking for the wound but there was nothing.

' a dream Hazel it was a dream' Mia said in relief

' thank god I didn't want to die so suddenly' I say as I take a big gulp of the air

I then felt warmth coming from behind me and found the back of Mason in his wolf form.

' I guess he fell asleep after a while' I say as Mia  grunted in approval

I looked around and found Lea wide awake at the entrance of the cave as she looked around. She watched as the trees swayed with the wind. Snow getting picked up by the creatures running from their Predator.

" Oh you're awake finally" Lea said cutting off my train of thought

" oh yes sorry I-"

" you had a bad dream you kept screaming and thrashing a bit" she interrupted

" that's why mason is sleeping right now" she explained

It made my heart sink a little to know that he couldn't sleep because of me.

"I didn't know what was going on I was just sleeping and then next thing you know I fight to protect mason...I died for him just now" I say feeling a blanket get wrapped around my body

" it's okay, you are alive and here with me" mason spoke

I looked over at him seeing he stood up and walked away slowly letting steam out. I looked away and smiled

" yea I guess your right"I say

"Well now that you both are awake let's get you guys started training mostly for mason.." she smirked

" mason have you ever fought anyone besides out here" she asked

" n-no, I always trained with others but never got to fight well. Except out here, they are a lot tougher then Hazel makes it look" he admits

" what? the only reason why I know how to is because I had to fight to live and it didn't take long for me to catch up" I blurted out

" whatever show off" he scoffs

" show off? You just jealous you can't fight like me but you will learn" I say

" oh so now you going to do that...and I will catch up" he growls as I rolled my eyes and walked towards Lea and mason follows

" so kids we will start with the basics Hand on hand fighting" she said

we both look at each other knowing what happened last time

" umm...not the greatest idea"

" what why not" she asked

" last time.....things didn't go well between me and hazel" Mason answered

" but I-"

" we almost killed each other is what he's saying" i spoke

Lea stares with a disappointed look. She shook her head and lightly laughed

" I know hand and hand combat so does hazel . We both are pretty good on that but not in our wolf form...well me" He shrugged

" okay then we should get started" she said as she then proceeded to walk

We followed her as mason started to shift as I followed right after. I stared at masons markings knowing I looked like him.

Knowing the strange markings on him were printed right on me.

Walking in the woods in total silence as she lead the way. Though it seems as if she didn't know where we were going still she stopped

She took a deep breath in and out and turned to us

" okay first I need you to Run" she spoke

We looked at her confused as she started to strip making Mason turn away but I kept stayed out

"Kids this isn't a joke...if you don't start running they will catch you " she spoke

Suddenly we started to hear loud footsteps crunching underneath. She looked around as she shifted till she looked over at us

" time for a run kids" she lightly huffed and finished shifting into this honey colored wolf. eyes that were a dark green almost like ours.

She then growled at us as we started at her. But then she started to run not looking back to us.

Hearing calls of an animal making me look back and saw a herd of buffalos heading our way.

' RUN HAZEL' masons yelled

We began to run as fast as we could as the snow underneath us slowed us down, though we didn't stop. We kept running when I felt mason start to get slowler

' it hasn't even been a full run and he's tried'

I looked back and he started to slow down and I as well slowed down.

' you okay' I ask and he nodded

' Where is she' he pointed out

Confused I look around to see that she is no where in sight. I sniffed the air but nothing came through but buffalo.

' what the hell' I say

I was about to stop but something hit me on the side of my leg.

' what was tha-'

'MOVE! They have Horns!' Mason shouted going much faster.

I followed behind him catching up. The herd was right on our tail as we ran trying to lose them or give us some distance.

Panting and snapping our jaws at them hug they didn't budge. Constantly feeling their body or horns on our leg as we snapped at them.

Finally taking a random turn into a another clearing I didn't feel them against my leg.

' are they still behind us' mason said exhausted

I turned around only to see the herd turn and what I saw behind them confused me.

' Lea was pushing the herd to us' I say as I stop and turn around

' what? since when?' masons said dropping onto the cold snow

Seeing her running over as I stood in front of Mason baring my teeth a little. I was panting from the run as she looked completely fine.

As she approached she saw my stance and did it as well but then laid down as if she was tired

' she is weird' mason said looking at her

' yea but she kinda reminds me of mother' I say

I took a few more seconds looking at her and Laid down cooling off.

I then heard bones snapping and opened my eyes to see her right in front of me. I quickly got up and moved away from her standing on top of mason protectively

" Never turn your back on some one just met because they are tried. It can give them a chance to kill you while you are off guard" she spoke as mason had his close eyes

' now we are really going to start training with her...' I sighed

' this is going to be a long month or what we have left to see Xavier and the pack again' he said getting up and stretching
