First day of highschool.

Yoongi groaned as he heard his alarm clock. He extended his arm to the side and tried to turn it off. He missed. "Seriously?" He tried again and finally turned it off, blessing his ears.

He slowly got out of bed, wanting to take as much time as possible just to be late to school. He took out his phone and checked the time. 7:04. He lazily walked over to his closet and took out his clothes, changing into them really slowly because, again, he wanted to be as late as possible to school. He checked his phone again and noticed a message sent to him. It was none other than his best friend, Hoseok.

Hobi: Yoongi, r u ready?? :D

Yoongi: no and I wanna go back to sleep

Hobi: aw, c'mon, I'm sure it'll be fun today! I'll meet u outside ur door

Yoongi: wtvr

Hobi: u better be ready by then or else I'm dragging u out myself, I swear

Yoongi: and to think people call u the sun itself, u evil being

Hobi: :) see ya!

Yoongi sighed, knowing Hoseok would actually drag him out if he didn't get ready quickly. It actually had happened a few years back during middle school. He shuddered remembering it. He quickly got ready and walked downstairs, making a cup of coffee for himself. He looked around, realizing his parents had already left.

Then, a knock and a door opening.

"YOONGI!"

Yoongi winced once he heard Hoseok bursting in. "You don't have to be so loud, idiot!"

Hoseok just grinned at him. "Too bad." Hoseok grabbed his arm. "Let's go!" He pulled him out of the house and started walking to school. The rest of the way there, Yoongi kept ranting about how school was pointless and how half the stuff they learn there won't be used in the near future. Meanwhile, Hoseok just rolled his eyes.

Hoseok has been Yoongi's friend since kindergarten, so he was used to his rants about school. But, just like to any normal human, it would get annoying and made him want to slap Yoongi across the face. Though, he could never do that to him. As they were nearing the school entrance, Hoseok sighed. Yoongi turned to him.

"Don't get too sad if we're not in the same classes." Hoseok turned to him.

"Yeah, okay..." Yoongi nodded and turned back towards the school. Hoseok stopped for a few seconds, feeling bad that he had to remind Yoongi that there was always a possibility that they weren't going to be in the same classes. But it was for the best anyway.

He continued towards the school. They soon arrived at the school, walking through the entrance. Yoongi immediately went to see what classes he was in, as well as which classes Hoseok was in. His brows furrowed.

"Are you kidding me?"

Hoseok soon caught up with him and peaked over his shoulder to check their schedules. He let out a sigh. They weren't in any classes together. Yoongi looked a bit annoyed. In his mind, this wasn't fair. He knew he was going to get ignored by everyone in class. It would at least make school worth something if Hoseok was in his classes.

"Hey, at least we can still see each other during lunch!" Hoseok smiled brightly at him in hopes of cheering him up a bit. He partially failed in doing so since Yoongi refused to look at the bright side to this.

He just wanted to survive the school year for once. Sadly, his wish wasn't granted. "Get to class, okay? I'll see you during lunch, bye!" Hobi waved bye with a smile to Yoongi and rushed off to his class.

"Sure..." Yoongi nodded and sighed. He checked his schedule again, then looked up. Then, he heard something. A yelp. He walked ahead and turned the corner of the hallway. He clenched his fists, memories that he wanted to forget coming back.

An innocent student getting hurt by a bully.

Something in Yoongi clicked and he started running towards them. He felt anger rush through his whole body. He punched the bully. He didn't even know why he did it. It's not like he knew who the kid or the bully were. Why did he punch him? "Who the fuck do you think you are?!" The bully touched the spot Yoongi punched and winced subtly. Yoongi just glared at him, which usually shuts people up. Which is exactly what the bully did.

"Leave this kid alone if you want to leave school with all your teeth still in place." He said angrily. The guy just stared him for a few seconds, eyes wide. He huffed, looking angered. He still got up and speed walked away. Yoongi turned to the student getting bullied, and suddenly, all the memories came flooding back the moment he looked at the student.

"Uh," he had no clue what to say, he didn't even mean for this to happen, "you ok?" The student just stared at him for a minute, eyes wide.

"Wh-... u-um..." The student stuttered, blushing a little. He slowly got to his feet. Yoongi rose an eyebrow. He looked a bit concerned. "T-Thank you for... saving me..." He fidgeted, blush growing. Yoongi just shrugged it off, not caring about it much.

"It's nothing. See you around I guess." He slightly smiled at him before walking away to his class. Until he got stopped by a voice.

"Wait! W-... what's your name?" Yoongi turned to the kid again, a few feet away. He didn't know why, but something in him told him to answer the question, even though he usually wouldn't.

"Yoongi." The student, who was currently staring at the ground, smiled.

He then looked up, "My name is Jimin...!" He said happily. He was smiling brightly and his eyes seemed like they were smiling as well. Yoongi couldn't help but smile again. Jimin's smile was contagious.

"Well, I'll see you around, Jimin." With that last line, he walked off, heading to class. Meanwhile, Jimin felt like he was in a trance. He grinned widely, his heart beating fast. He couldn't believe someone actually stood up for him. That never happened at his old school. And on top of that, the boy was cute. Jimin felt like he could get lost in his eyes. But he told himself it was too early to say he was in love.

He started walking to his class, still smiling widely and heart beating rapidly.
