Love needed

They sat there in shock with all that has been going on in my life then said, "Ok first we do love you and we do care about you things are just gonna change now that there is gonna be a new baby."
"I know that but you guys apparently have time to spend with Aksha but not me," I told them feeling hurt.
"I know and that's not fair we will try to spend more time with you," mom said in a sweet caring voice.
"Now why are you getting bullied." dad asked.
"One of my friends told someone about my how to train your dragon obsession but none of them will admit who did it," I told them with tears in my eyes.
They looked at each other and came over and gave me a big hug and I started sobbing into their shoulders because I started to finally feel loved. They finally paid attention to me they finally listened to all of the problems that I have been trying to avoid for the past week.
Mom and dad broke the hug and looked at me sternly dad said, "I want you to tell us what is going on in your life for now on Nuffink because if you don't this is gonna happen again you are gonna feel alone you gonna feel like you have to fight this on your own when you really don't you have family that can help you ok."
I smile and nodded.
The next day at school I went over my friends and asked them if they could tell me who told everyone about my love for how to train your dragon but they all shook their heads so I walked off in anger knowing that I had to choose certain friends that I could trust with my secret.
(6 months later)
It has been 6 months since the bullying started and ended and I realized that mom and dad did love me even if they didn't show it as much.
I was busy doing my homework until I heard a couple of people rushing down the stairs I went to check it out and dad said, "Grandma will be here soon to watch you and Aksha."
I nodded as they left. I sat downstairs waiting for grandma to come. Aksha came down asked, "where did mom and dad go?"
I shrugged my shoulders and said, "grandma will be here soon though."
Aksha nodded and went back upstairs. I heard a knock and answered it. Grandma came in and sat on the couch. I sat next to her still wondering why mom and dad had to leave so fast that they couldn't wait for grandma to get here.
"Grandma," I said as looked at her.
"Yes, sweetie."
"Why did mom and dad have to rush out and not wait for you," I asked hoping she knew the answer.
"They just had to get a surprise for you and Aksha," Grandma answered me with a smile on her face.
"Oh," was all I said as I leaned my head on her arm.
About five hours later Grandma got a call and she seemed very happy about it. Not to long later she loaded Aksha and I into the car and took us to the hospital. I didn't know what we were doing here but I went with it. We went up in the elevator and went through some doors. We turned right and went into another pair of doors to see mom holding a little baby.
