My Mamma went crazy.
She would paint pictures of Matty,
Painting used to be her life, her hobbie,
Her job.
Now it was denial.
My Mamma forgot about me.
See, me and Matty looked alot alike.
Black hair and mossy green eyes,
His only a little bluer. She called me Matty,
And all was lost.
My Momma ignored my father
And drowned out his yelling with her hysterical screams.
Daddy was forced to sober up for a day
And take her to the hospital.
Mamma was diagnosed
With schizophrenia.
