I begin to open my eyes as I feel the wind gently blowing my hair against my face. I remove the strands of hair that are covering my eyes as I stretch my arms and yawn. I look around as I see a field with the greenest grass I've ever seen, the sky is as blue as Happy's fur the sun is shinning bright I can tell but I can't feel its warmth. I look above me and see that I'm sitting underneath a tree giving me shade "where I'm I?" I ask my self confused.
Lucy:One minute I'm in the infirmary with Natsu the next I'm on this field......oh god Natsu!
I look around frantically looking for him as well as Wendy and the two exceeds but I find nothing.
???: you're finally awake.
I hear a voice say behind me. I'm stunned by the voice I hear I didn't think anyone was here with me, so I slowly and cautiously turn around when I see a woman in her mid thirties with blonde hair, big brown eyes wearing a pink and purple dress with her hair tied up with a white hair band.

Lucy: m..mom?...
Layla: hey Lucy
I walk close to her not believing what I'm seeing as my eyes begin to tear up at this point not being able to hold on to my tears any longer I let them run down my face as I give my mother the biggest hug ever.
Lucy: mom it's really you!
At this point I'm so happy that I cry and sob just looking like a mess, she hugs me back as I feel her warmth, the warmth I haven't in so long.
Layla: it's been too long sweetie I've missed you so much.
Lucy: me too mom I've missed a lot! How.?...how are you here? Where are we?
Layla: it's kinda difficult to explain to be honest..the best I can say is that we are inside Natsu's mind. It seems the bond between the two of you is so strong not even death could had separated you two.
Lucy: what do you mean Natsu's mind?
I ask her giving her a confused look.
Layla: do you remember the last thing you did before coming here?
Lucy: well I fell asleep next to Natsu and uhh....held....his hand.
I say shyly and kinda embarrassed to tell my own mom about this.
Layla: it's okay Lucy no need to be shy I know you and Natsu are together, and before you ask how when you two visited his parents grave all three of us saw you two finally become a coupe! How exciting! I approve of him being my son-in-law!
I feel my face starting to heat up, I'm pretty sure by my moms reaction I can tell that I'm blushing.
Lucy: there's so many thing I have to tell you mom where do I start?!
